C’est CNN … As any student of history knows, Bastille Day commemorates the day a French mob “liberated” a few guys who didn’t want to be liberated out of the Bastille prison in Paris. It is also the French national holiday, a fact that CNN’s Jeff Zeleny obviously didn’t know. He told the CNN audience that Bastille Day commemorated the 100th anniversary of the U.S. getting into World War One. No, really, he did. The Boston Herald’s Tom Shattuck – whom this writer has worked with in the past – grabbed the video.
O dites, voyez-vous … CNN was having a really bad day with the Trump visit to France. Maybe the fact-check department was on hiatus after a grueling Russia week? That could be why CNN’s Poppy Harlow thought the Star-Spangled Banner was the French national anthem, La Marseillaise.
Bill Belichick hates terrorists … The internet went into a fury yesterday when it was revealed that Bill Belichick wore a T-shirt emblazoned with “Life is Great” and depicting a K9 chomping down on a dead terrorist. One Vice sports writer said it was “F****d up.” No, it is glorious, especially sans sleeves, which is of course “In Bill We Trust’s” haute couture. Why do media types hate killing terrorists? 🐐
How do we stop the mainstream media from warping the national narrative? We push back together. With the truth. Be the first to receive CRTV’s free weapon against the worst the media has to offer. Introducing WTF MSM!?
Politico’s Putin obsession story … In an utter lack of self-awareness, Politico wrote about another party’s “Putin obsession.” And they weren’t talking about the media … go figure.
Cruz slays … Ted Cruz absolutely slayed CNN in one tweet yesterday. After the network tweeted about his “so-called Consumer Freedom amendment,” Cruz said he searched CNN’s Twitter feed for mentions of the “so-called Affordable Care Act.” He didn’t find any. Savage.
Treason … The New York Times ran an op-ed yesterday blazoned with the word “treason.” If you read the op-ed, you would find that the paper’s opinion was that Trump Jr. committed no treason. Alan Dershowitz wondered why they would even mention it at all.
I can’t fight back alone against the mainstream media. I need your help. There are two ways you can help. First, send your friends – and even your enemies – over to CRTV.com/WwTFMSM and have them sign up to get this email. Second, email me at firstname.lastname@example.org with anything questionable you see the media do. Together, we can fight back.
