FBI director James Comey tried present himself to Congress as an impartial agent of the law on Wednesday, but that doesn’t change the fact that he was a “fraud” whose partisan, opportunistic decisions have protected Hillary Clinton from facing her alleged federal crimes, says Mark Levin.
In a segment of his daily radio program just hours after Comey testified on Capitol Hill this week, the Conservative Review editor-in-chief tore into the director as a having overseen a “tremendous miscarriage of justice” in his treatment of the failed Democrat presidential candidate, despite his unsurprising revelation that he and former Attorney General Loretta Lynch did not trust each other in the waning days of the Obama administration.
And while Comey’s public report to Congress that he was reopening the case on Hillary Clinton’s alleged violations of federal law at the State Department may have cost the candidate some last-minute points on the campaign trail, Levin says that Comey ultimately acted as her protector, effectively changing the letter of the law when his bureau blatantly overlooked her actions in order to close the case.
“The fact of the matter is that Hillary Clinton was protected by James Comey, was protected by the justice department,” Levin explained. “Whether one trusted the other or not is beside the point.”
“The great miscarriage of justice here was Hillary Clinton skating on the edge of the law but in this case, she wasn’t even skating on the edge; she went right through it,” he continued.
“In this case, Mr. Comey,” he concluded, “you are a complete and absolute fraud.”
