LevinTV host Mark Levin started the first hour of his radio show Thursday evening tearing into Rep. Frederica Wilson, the Democrat congresswoman from Florida who dragged a Gold Star family into the middle of her high-profile feud with President Trump.
The controversy over the phone call came In the aftermath of an ambush in Niger that tragically left four American soldiers dead. Levin, citing a Fox News report, mentioned how Wilson has consistently voted against legislation that is intended to help veteran families.
“She despises the military,” he commented. “She’s a disgrace. She’s a kook. An absolute kook.”
Wilson appears to be leveraging the family of a veteran who was killed in the line of duty to attack President Trump, claiming his call to the grieving wife was insensitive and inappropriate. However, her claim has been exposed as foolish and beneath her office.
Levin castigated the media for propping up Rep. Wilson in her campaign against the president and concluded the segment by questioning why Rep. Wilson was snooping in on a private call in the first place.
“For a congresswoman, it was so weird … What is she doing listening in on a phone call from the president of the United States to a widow? She’s a political hack.”
