Mark Levin called out right-wing writers and bloggers for their fixation upon Donald Trump Jr.’s meeting with a Russian lawyer, calling the whole debacle a distraction from the more important, ongoing debate about health care in Congress.

While Democrat fixation on the meeting – which has done little more than stoke more Russian speculation and political grandstanding from the Left – is par for the course, the Conservative Review Editor in Chief said what amazes him the most is that this has become “a five-alarm fire among people who claim to be conservatives.”

“While the whole nation, hour after hour, on TV and radio, is forced to chase a shiny object,” the Senate is about to release an updated version of its make-or-break health care bill, Levin said.

Levin then went down a long list of errors in the Senate health care bill before turning his ire back to the media figures focused more on attacking the President’s son. Yet, “we’re supposed to focus on Donald Trump Jr.,” Levin concluded, clearly exasperated.
