The consequential Republican Senate primary in Alabama reaches its conclusion tonight. Incumbent Sen. Luther Strange faces conservative challenger Judge Roy Moore in the special election for Attorney General Jeff Sessions’ former Senate seat.
The winner of this runoff will face former U.S. Attorney Doug Jones from the Democratic Party in the general election on Dec. 12, 2017.
