The liberals running Twitter censor Marsha Blackburn

Ultimately, this is likely to only help Blackburn and her Senate campaign.

The progressive overlords running Twitter have censored U.S. Rep. Marsha Blackburn, R-Tenn, blocking her campaign announcement ad for a statement in the video regarding Planned Parenthood’s sale of baby parts, the Associated Press reports.

Blackburn, who is running for the seat being opened by the retirement of Tennessee Sen. Bob Corker, boasts in the ad that she “stopped the sale of baby body parts.” A Twitter representative told the candidate’s vendors on Monday that the statement was “deemed an inflammatory statement that is likely to evoke a strong negative reaction: [sic]

Twitter said the Blackburn campaign would be allowed to run the rest of the video if the flagged statement is omitted. While the decision keeps Blackburn from paying to promote the video on Twitter, it doesn’t keep it from being linked from YouTube and other platforms.

That is an insane suppression of the truth. As the Center for Medical Progress has repeatedly shown in their series of undercover sting videos, Planned Parenthood participates in the trade of harvested organs from the bodies of unborn babies.

Rep. Blackburn was the chair of the House GOP committee investigating Planned Parenthood and a leader in the House effort to defund the nation's number one abortion provider.

Blackburn’s Senate campaign is already using Twitter’s decision to rally the troops.

Ultimately, Twitter’s bullying is likely to only help Blackburn, aiding her in the Republican primary for retiring Sen. Bob Corker’s seat.

According to the AP, Blackburn’s campaign ad “features footage of her shooting a gun, espousing her '100 percent pro-life' credentials and taking fellow Republicans in the Senate to task for failing to repeal the Obama health care law.”

“I know the Left calls me a wingnut or a knuckle-dragging conservative,” she reportedly says in the video. “And you know what? I say that’s alright — bring it on.”
