Charlottesville roundup …

My colleagues at Conservative Review took a long hard look at what happened in Charlottesville over the weekend. Much of it destroys the media narrative coming out of that day:

What happens when everyone is a Nazi? … The Left and its media allies have been hard at work for over a decade villainizing every conservative they see as a Nazi. This of course desensitizes the nation to real, actual Nazis, like the ones who marched in Charlottesville. Chris Pandolfo took a deep dive into exactly what that leftist/media narrative has wrought.

Levin slams the politicization … CRTV’s Mark Levin dissected the domestic terrorist attack and the riot that preceded it this past weekend. He slammed the media for politicizing the events and the deaths.

How to shut down the fascist authoritarians … CR’s Jordan Schachtel outlined four ways to shut down the fascist authoritarians on both fringes of the political spectrum. From allowing idiots to speak — per the First Amendment — to denouncing all forms of totalitarianism, this piece is a must-read. It breaks through the media narrative to show the roots of the problem are much deeper and broader than the media portrays.

Good little resisters …

CNN’s chyron editorializing continues … Instead of merely reporting the news, the chyron editor at CNN feels the need to editorialize as news is unfolding. Yesterday, as you can see in the video in this NewsBusters piece, it was “Trump calls out racists two days after violent rally.” Last week the chyron read “Vacation critic takes time off.” Back in June, it was instantaneous “fact checks” during a segment. That is not a neutral presentation of the news. That’s wholesale joining the “resistance.”

Resister-in-Chief Jim Acosta … After making a fool of himself trying to match wits with Stephen Miller a few weeks ago, CNN’s Jim Acosta continues trying to make himself the star of every show. Yesterday it was by asking Trump if the media could ask more questions. Trump responded by calling him fake news, which prompted Acosta to tweet, basically, I know you are but what am I? What a good little resister Jim is.

CBS News on eugenic genocide of children with Down syndrome … When my uncle and his wife had a child with Down syndrome, my family was blessed with one of the most loving human beings I have ever met, with a smile that goes on for days. His life will be filled with challenges, but it is a life worth living, as every life is. CBS just reported on Iceland, where virtually all children with Down syndrome are aborted after a screening test. In the United States, CBS reports, an estimated 67 percent of babies with Down syndrome are aborted. The article comes across as in favor of the practice — a practice that has its roots in white supremacist eugenics theory. But, hey, who are we to judge?

Tell a friend …

I can’t fight back alone against the mainstream media. I need your help. There are two ways you can help. First, send your friends – and even your enemies – over to CRTV.com/WTFMSM and have them sign up to get this email. Second, email me at reno@crtv.com with anything questionable you see the media do. Together, we can fight back.
