The liberal slant with which the mainstream media covers news stories is not the aggravating part of its bias.

More acutely, the problem with the mainstream media is not what they report, but what they choose to ignore. And the mainstream media is ignoring Conservative Review Senior Editor Michelle Malkin’s investigation into the Daniel Holtzclaw case and the evidence she has presented that may indicate his innocence.

But leave it to a smug liberal journalist like Soledad O’Brien to dismiss facts that challenge her preconceived bias offhand.

“Yeahhh—but he did.” Ladies and gentlemen, O’Brien provides a compelling case for Holtzclaw’s guilt right there. I mean that argument, “but he did,” that’s … that’s … that’s pathetic. It’s condescending. It’s arrogant. What does Soledad O’Brien know about this case?

Now, here’s the thing about Michelle Malkin. She likes to push back.

And she doesn’t back down.

O’Brien hasn’t responded to Malkin yet. One must assume it’s because she’s sitting in stunned silence, contemplating the error of her tweets. Well, one could hope.

Maybe she’s watching “Michelle Malkin Investigates?” Michelle worked around the clock to build her case.

And that’s the driving point, isn’t it? Michelle has been investigating this case for almost a year now. She’s gone over the facts, interviewed witnesses, done the muckraking work that used to be prized in the journalism industry.

But, Soledad O’Brien is a “journalist” who doesn’t need to do real journalism, who doesn’t care for investigative work because she can smugly tweet.

How many mainstream media journalists do you think will take Michelle up on that offer?
