It’s amazing how low the Left will stoop to malign those with whom they disagree. On Tuesday morning, MTV News culture reporter Ira Madison III tweeted, then deleted a photo of Sen. Jeff Sessions, R-Ala. (C, 78%) and his granddaughter, who is part Asian.

“Sessions, sir, kindly return this Asian baby to the Toys ‘R’ Us you stole her from,” read the original tweet. Madison then accused Donald Trump’s attorney general pick of using his granddaughter as a prop to distract the ignorant masses from the fact that he is a "secret racist."

After deleting the tweet, Madison offered a defense that made him look even worse:

Conservative Review Senior Editor Michelle Malkin was having NONE of it.

Malkin wasn't alone in her rebuke. Other social media users also roundly condemned the race-baiting nonsense.

Sessions isn’t the first politician to have been smeared by the Left for having an interracial family. Recall the case involving Melissa Harris-Perry, who in 2013 joked about Mitt Romney’s adopted black grandson on live television.

The Left loooooooves diversity until a Republican's family is diverse. Then all hell breaks loose!
