Conservative Review Editor-in-Chief Mark Levin is abroad this week, visiting Israel. During his tour of the Holy Land, Levin took two pictures that show why the Trump administration’s friendly overtures to the Palestinians are foolish.
The first is an underground playground for children.
Here's an underground playground we visited today, which is used by little kids to protect them from Palestinian rocket attacks
Why underground? Because Israeli children need to be protected from the second photo.
A few of the spent rocket casings fired into Jewish neighborhoods by the Palestinians
These are the rockets fired into Jewish neighborhoods by the Palestinians. In Israel, even little children are the targets of the Islamic supremacist regime governing the Palestinians. PLO chairman Mahmoud Abbas, a lifelong terrorist, tells President Trump he wants peace with Israel while he does nothing to stop – and even encourages – the evil violence of his people against Israel.
Yet President Trump has embraced the Palestinians on equal footing with the Israelis. Indeed, members of the Trump administration have even slighted Israel as Trump attempts to negotiate a peace deal between murderers and their victims. The administration naively believes that the solving Israeli-Palestinian conflict, not stopping Islamic supremacism, is the key to peace in the Middle East.
Look again at those photos. In the long history of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, the only obstacle to peace has been the Islamic ideology of the PLO that demands the eradication of the world’s only Jewish state and the murder of children to achieve it.
Look at those photos and ask, why is President Trump bringing Palestinian leaders to the White House? Why is President Trump breaking his promise to move the U.S. embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem? And what would conservatives say of the president if Barack Obama were doing these things?
