After London, will SCOTUS give Trump’s ‘travel ban’ new life?

The Trump administration asked the U. S. Supreme Court to reinstate the president’s revised travel ban executive order, seeking to temporarily restrict travel from six Muslim-majority countries with disproportionately high rates of terror.

Following the weekend's London Bridge terrorist attack, Trump tweeted, “We need to be smart, vigilant and tough. We need the courts to give us back our rights. We need the Travel Ban as an extra level of safety!”
