Ben Ferguson roasts Democrats for racist Kanye comments

Thursday on the radio, Ben Ferguson, filling in for LevinTV host Mark Levin, called out commentator Bakari Sellers for his statement Tuesday evening that "Kanye West is what happens when Negroes don't read," after Kanye West announced he would visit President Donald Trump in the White House Thursday.

Ferguson explained that the Left's shaming of West, including claiming that he is mentally unwell because he supports the president, is real racism.

"If you are African-American, whatever you do, do not become a Republican. Because if you do, the Democratic Party is going to try to check you into a mental hospital. They are going to say that you are uneducated. They are going to say that you clearly are not well mentally. ... The same Democratic Party that says we don't need to shame people, and we need to let people be open about mental illness, and we need to bring it out and not make it something that people should be embarrassed about are the same exact people today that are shaming an African-American man because he didn't do what they told him to do," Ferguson said.

Listen:

"How is that not the most racist statement? Is it not racist because a Democrat says it? Is it not racist because a black person said it? Is it not racist because it's supported by all Democrats?"

Ferguson pointed out the Democratic Party's pattern of publicly shaming any person who does not rally behind its causes.

"Don't tell me that the Democrat party cares about black people," he said. "Don't tell me that this isn't racism."
