On Monday, President Donald Trump announced on Twitter he will deliver a televised address to the nation on the crisis at our southern border. Trump’s announcement follows news from White House press secretary Sarah Sanders that the president will travel to the border on Thursday.
I am pleased to inform you that I will Address the Nation on the Humanitarian and National Security crisis on our Southern Border. Tuesday night at 9:00 P.M. Eastern.

Conservatives including LevinTV host Mark Levin, Conservative Review senior editor Daniel Horowitz, and pundit Ann Coulter have called on President Trump to deliver a national address on border security.
First read this https://t.co/5Ly4mX9J2d Then ask yourself the position we'd be in if House GOP would have passed good CR weeks ago and Trump would have given prime time address on immigration, and McConnell would have immediately called up the bill and they all would have fought

TRUMP COULD WIN THIS FIGHT… by holding an oval office address, saying this fight could be over if Dems would fund the wall. Talk about cost of illegals, all the idiotic things govt spends $10 bill on, etc. LET STEPHEN MILLER WRITE THE SPEECH. (He won't. He'll fold)

On the radio, Levin said it is “time for a very thoughtful, compelling address to the nation” explaining “that the Democrats simply will not help you secure the border, that the Democrats simply will not help you prevent illegal aliens from pouring into the country, many of whom are violent criminals.”
It seems President Trump has listened.
The address will be delivered Tuesday night at 9:00 p.m.
