Chick-fil-A doesn’t need your celebrity endorsement

For the third consecutive year, Chick-fil-A was ranked the top fast-food restaurant in customer satisfaction, according to the American Customer Satisfaction Index’s annual survey, released Thursday, Fox Business reported.

Despite coming under fire from LGBT customers for Chick-fil-A president Dan Cathy’s Christian stance on marriage, and even though the restaurant is closed on Sundays, unlike competitors, the Georgia-based chain easily surpassed other fast-food restaurants, receiving a rating of 87 out of 100. The next closest was Panera Bread, at 81, and the average fast-food restaurant earned a score of 80.

“The chicken specialist dominates the rankings with the highest score across both restaurant categories, and its food quality continues to rate higher than the competition,” the ACSI’s report said.

Data was based on a group of 250,000 customers who were asked about their satisfaction with more than 280 companies.
