#ChuckNorrisFacts: Polls rise BEFORE a Chuck Norris endorsement

What happens when Chuck Norris endorses a conservative candidate for the U.S. Senate? Roy Moore’s opponents in Alabama are about to find out.

The badass “Walker, Texas Ranger” actor who’s inspired countless internet memes endorsed Judge Roy Moore for U.S. Senate Monday.

“Judge Roy Moore is the real deal: He’s tough, tested, and has a spine of steel,” said Norris. “The Washington establishment knows they won’t be able to count on him, but Alabama voters can. Judge Moore has never backed down from standing for what is right, and that’s exactly what he’ll do in the U.S Senate. That’s why the Washington establishment is spending millions trying to defeat Judge Moore.”

Norris, a conservative Christian, is an active supporter of candidates and causes. A veteran of the U.S. Air Force, he is a champion of veterans’ issues.

“Alabama needs Judge Moore there doing what he’s always done: fighting to protect our constitutional rights to life, religious liberty, and the freedom to protect ourselves and our families. And he will always put principle over politics,” said Norris.

Judge Moore is thrilled to have him on board.

“Chuck Norris is exactly the kind of guy you want on your side, and I’m honored to have his support as we continue this fight to take our Alabama values to Washington,” said Moore.

The Moore campaign is on its way to having a stellar week. A poll released by JMC Analytics Monday has Moore leading the race for Senate against primary opponents Rep. Mo Brooks, R-Ala., and incumbent Senator Luther Strange, R-Ala. In particular, Moore’s favorability rating, at 53 – 34 favorable/unfavorable, dominates the field.

The primary election is August 15. If no candidate earns 50 percent of the vote, a runoff election will be held between the top two candidates
