Ferguson: 'This is how psychotic the media has become' over Trump

BlazeTV host Ben Ferguson, filling in for LevinTV host Mark Levin on the radio Thursday, roasted the media for continuing to twist their coverage of George H.W. Bush's funeral to attack President Donald Trump.

"What was there yesterday that I missed watching this service, where Donald Trump made it about him? He didn't speak. He sat there, he listened, he greeted the Obamas, waved down the row at other people. How is there anything here that made him the center of attention?" Ferguson asked.

Listen:

"This man can't even sit there and say nothing without people attacking him," Ferguson said. "This man literally cannot even sit at a funeral where he says nothing and sits there ... without people ... attacking him, saying, 'Well, you could tell in his body language that really he was obsessed with this being about him,'" Ferguson said.

Ferguson pointed out that the mainstream media seems determined to make every major event about the president.

"He didn't do anything outside the ordinary. He didn't do anything wrong. He did everything right, and somehow the media still acts as if just sitting there saying nothing is now, 'Well, you could tell it was uncomfortable for him. You could tell that he really just didn't want to be there or didn't know how to act. You could tell from his body language.' Are you insane? This is your obsession with him; this is how crazy it's gotten. This is how psychotic the media has become, where at all costs, no matter what happens, no matter who dies, no matter what the story is, we must somehow connect it to attacking a sitting president of the United States of America, Donald Trump, who we hate. ... This is not just narcissism; it's childlike."
