Levin & Bolton call out North Korea: We've negotiated 25 years

Conservative Review Editor-in-Chief Mark Levin brought Ambassador John Bolton onto his radio show Thursday night to discuss the threats to the nation and how to implement successful policies to ensure that America comes out on top.

The discussion began with the threat posed by North Korea. Bolton explained that the U.S. has tried to negotiate with North Korea for 25 years, but without success.

“What the North Koreans have done is use that 25 years to make progress on their nuclear weapons and ballistic missile program,” Bolton explained.

“Is the State Department a rogue operation?” Levin asked the former U.S. ambassador to the United Nations, expressing frustration with the conflicting messages coming from Secretary Rex Tillerson.

Bolton opined that Tillerson is being led off track by the “bureaucracy at the State Department.”

“I do not believe that this regime in Pyongyang should be able to terrorize innocent American civilians by threatening the use of nuclear weapons,” he added.

Bolton also discussed how North Korean cooperation with Iran is especially dangerous to the free world.

The longtime Reagan and Bush administration official is rumored as a possible replacement for Secretary of State Rex Tillerson or national security adviser H.R. McMaster, as the two cabinet secretaries continue to diverge from the president’s foreign policy agenda.
