Levin: 'You cannot be for capitalism if you do not believe in trade'

Thursday on the radio, LevinTV host Mark Levin lambasted President Trump's plan to introduce heavy tariffs on steel and aluminum.

"You cannot be for capitalism if you do not believe in trade," Levin said.

Tariffs hurt American workers. They will increase prices, cause the cost of building to go up, and be a detriment to American businesses. "People are going to lose their jobs," Levin explained.

What's more, why stop at steel and aluminum, Levin asked. Why not pass broad tariffs on every American industry? Raise prices on everyone for "protection?"
