CRTV host Mark Levin began his national radio program Wednesday night by discussing recent reports alleging anti-Trump activities at the highest levels of the Federal Bureau of Investigation, and apparent attempts by agents to sway the 2016 presidential election and then undermine its outcome.
“I don’t know how much more information we need that there is cronyism and corruption at the senior levels of the FBI like I’ve never seen before,” said Levin, who was the chief of staff to former Attorney General Ed Meese.
Levin pointed to recent reports that disgraced anti-Trump FBI agent Peter Strzok and FBI attorney Lisa Page began texting about a so-called “secret society” the day after the election. These revelations follow previous stories about the pair discussing an “insurance policy” the Bureau should take in case Trump won.
“We have an obligation to get to the bottom of this, those of us who care about this country,” Levin concluded. “For the sake of the people who work at the FBI – tens of thousands of them – and even more for the sake of the American people.”
