Levin: 'Exactly which world leaders were lobbying Joe Biden to run for president of our United States?'
April 29, 2019
Friday night on the radio, LevinTV host Mark Levin pointed out how a recent remark from 2020 presidential candidate Joe Biden means that America needs to keep an eye on his foreign ties.
Levin referred to Biden's reported remarks to donors that world leaders "begged" him to run to "save the world" from President Donald Trump.
"Isn't this collusion?" Levin asked, pointing out how vague Biden's claim is and how world leaders who dislike Trump's presidency include leaders of U.S. rivals and adversaries like Chinese President Xi Jinping and Russian dictator Vladimir Putin.
"These Democrat presidents are always in the back pocket of somebody," Levin noted. "They're always playing footsie with dictators and their ilk. They're always creating policies, quite frankly, that weaken our country."
"So the question is, exactly which world leaders were lobbying Joe Biden to run for president of our United States?" Levin concluded. "I'd like to have a list, wouldn't you?"
Levin said that his point is that the Left's treatment of Donald Trump has "opened Pandora's box" for partisan investigations and impeachment attempts. As a result, those new norms could just as easily be turned against Biden for something as little as an offhand comment meant to impress donors.
