Levin fires back after NYT downplays his book sales

The New York Times bestseller list is downplaying the sales of Mark Levin’s newest book, the radio host claims, and he isn’t having any of it.

On a Wednesday segment of his nationally syndicated radio show, the Conservative Review Editor-in-Chief called out the media outlet for downgrading his book “Rediscovering Americanism.” The NYT will place Levin's book at number two for hardcover nonfiction books, below a book about astrophysics by leftist scientist Neil deGrasse Tyson. This is even though it's still number one according to Nielsen BookScan – the source by which book sales are tracked – which the LevinTV host decried as “not fair to any author” and a “secretive process” in need of exposure.

Levin also says this is not the first time the newspaper has done something like this, recalling a similar instance in which his book “Rescuing Sprite” was also pushed down on the bestseller list despite higher sales on the same tracking service.
