Thursday on the radio, LevinTV host Mark Levin called attention to President Donald Trump’s unprecedented success in the Middle East and support for U.S. ally Israel, which the mainstream media has done its best to obscure.
“The president of the United States continues to do historic things in a place where history matters: the birth of Judaism. The birth of Christianity. The birth of Islam. The president of the United States, Donald Trump, will be remembered in the Middle East for a thousand years. He will be remembered by our enemies as the enemy. And he will be remembered by our friends as the great Donald Trump. You see, they view him quite differently than CNN and MSNBC and the New York Times and the Washington Post and all the rest of them. The relationship between Donald Trump and Benjamin Netanyahu is unparalleled. Unparalleled — it’s unequaled. And will the liberals in Israel throw Bibi Netanyahu out, the way the Left threw out Churchill after WWII? Will we, the American people, throw Donald Trump out, who stands between us and the insanity on the Left?” Levin said.
“The ISIS caliphate has been defeated, ladies and gentlemen. That doesn’t mean ISIS is ultimately defeated; like rats, like cockroaches, they know how to hide. But their territorial control is over. And this president did it in two years, despite all the attacks from Congress, all the investigations from the special counsel, all the smears from the media. He’s accomplished something Barack Obama could not accomplish. He’s given no credit whatsoever — none! He stopped Syria from gassing its people, something Barack Obama said was a red line and then he ran. Trump stopped them. … This president said that the United States is going to recognize Jerusalem as the capital of Israel, because it is the capital of Israel. Virtually every president in the modern era has said the same thing, and then they lied. He was told, ‘Don’t do it, don’t do it, lie like the others.’ But he did it. He moved the embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem. … For both of those acts, he came under attack,” Levin said.
By contrast, Levin explained, the Democrat Party has given up even the pretense of being pro-Israel. Not a single announced Democratic 2020 candidate for president is speaking at next week’s center-left AIPAC (American Israel Public Affairs Committee) Policy Conference in Washington, D.C., which Conservative Review national security correspondent Jordan Schachtel previously reported.
“The Democrat party is not only moving hard left against the United States, it’s moving hard left against a critical ally. And the president of the United States doesn’t get the credit that he deserves, standing up to them, standing up to the world, standing up for us, and standing up for our allies,” he said.
