Friday night on the radio, LevinTV host Mark Levin described what he called “a history of Democrats using police-state powers against their opponents.”
Using historical accounts described in greater detail in his forthcoming book, “Unfreedom of the Press,” Levin described a pattern of high-profile Democrats like Presidents Franklin Delano Roosevelt, John F. Kennedy, and Lyndon B. Johnson who targeted their political opponents for surveillance and harassment.
This history provides important context for today, Levin explained, because it shows us that President Donald Trump is just the latest in a long line of political opponents targeted by Democrats.
“Do you think the Democrat party, with this history, and Obama, with what took place in his administration with the IRS and the FBI and the Department of Justice,” Levin concluded, “do you really think he didn’t know anything about what they were doing to Donald Trump in the course of the campaign?”
