Friday night on the radio, LevinTV host Mark Levin pointed out just how far to the Left the Democratic Party has moved on the issue of illegal immigration in just two decades.

To make his point, Levin played audio of a speech given by now-deceased Democratic Rep. Barbara Jordan of Texas in the mid-1990s.

In her speech, which outlined the findings of a bipartisan commission on immigration, she made points about illegal immigration that sound a lot like President Trump’s stance in the ongoing political fight to secure America’s southern border.

Levin concluded by noting how “very irritating” it is to know that this kind of bipartisan consensus used to be the norm on immigration, yet so many politicians who have been in Congress for decades “haven’t achieved a damn thing in terms of securing the border.”
