The Left is waging a war against the American heritage. As President Trump predicted, they have gone beyond demanding the removal of Confederate monuments and now seek to tear down any and all vestiges of the American founding as well.

Earlier this week, Conservative Review Editor-in-Chief Mark Levin addressed a demand by CNN commentator Angela Rye to tear down statues of George Washington and Thomas Jefferson, men Rye decried as slave owners.

Levin read a speech by Abraham Lincoln, who made appeals to the Declaration of Independence to remind his countrymen that it is a fundamental American principle that all men are created equal.

As Lincoln said, the principles of the American founders as articulated in the Declaration of Independence, the principles of men like Washington and Jefferson, created the foundation upon which freedom is enjoyed by every American today.

Levin encouraged his listeners to re-read the Declaration of Independence. He reminded them that the Alt-“Right” rejects the principles of the Declaration, along with the radical Left.
