Thursday evening on Fox News’ “Hannity,” Conservative Review Editor-in-Chief Mark Levin called out the liberal media’s bias against President Trump.
The president started a controversy yesterday with a couple of tweets attacking MSNBC’s Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzesinski. Levin said that now we know where liberals draw the line on moral behavior.
“It’s nice to know we’ve finally found where the liberals draw the line: on this tweet, by this president,” Levin said. “You know they weren’t bothered by Bill Clinton. Bill Clinton accused of rape, and molesting, and sexually attacking women in the oval office. They said that was a ‘personal matter’. They weren’t bothered by Ted Kennedy at Chappaquiddick, the ‘lion of the Senate,’ right? They weren’t bothered by another president who had an affair with a mobster’s girlfriend, who had an affair with an East German spy, and with an underage intern.”
Levin said he doesn’t condone the president’s tweets, but said “it’s not the end of the world” that Trump responded to MSNBC’s verbal, personal attacks.
“The bottom line is MSNBC has a problem. From morning to night it’s the same damn show with different people,” Levin said. Whether MSNBC or CNN, the liberal bias of mainstream media networks is preventing these so-called news organizations from treating this president, or any Republican president, fairly.
“The public really hates the media,” Levin said. “And they hate the media because they’re not getting the facts.”
“It’s not just Trump, although I’ve never seen anything like this before,” Levin said. “Look at the way they treated Sarah Palin … Look at the way they treated Reagan.”
“’Republicans are dumb, and they’re incompetent, and they’re immoral. Liberal Democrats are smart, and moral, and the greatest thing since sliced bread,’” Levin said, characterizing the media’s coverage of Republican presidents. “The people are on to this now.”
