Mark Levin’s advice to Sean Hannity: Fight back — and sue

Conservative Review Editor-in-Chief Mark Levin came to the defense of Fox News’ Sean Hannity Thursday, and advised his friend to seriously open himself up to the idea of taking legal action against Media Matters for America.

The progressive organization, of course, has been leading a shame campaign against Hannity and his Fox News show. "If I were Sean Hannity [...] I would give very serious consideration to suing Media Matters,” said Levin, via Facebook:

Media Matters began its onslaught of attacks on Hannity this week, smearing him as a “propagandist” and listing his advertisers (to pressure them into pulling their ads from his show).

“Sean Hannity is a professional propagandist for President Donald Trump, as well as a bigot, a sexist, and a conspiracy theorist,” Media Matters wrote.

“As host of Fox News’ Hannity, he has used his platform to advocate for authoritarian tactics toward the press, defend Trump's obstruction of the investigation into collusion between the president's associates and Russia, and attack judges who have ruled against Trump’s Muslim bans,” the left-wing site claimed.

As is standard, the advertisers listed have since been hounded by leftists on social media calling for a boycott of Hannity’s program.

Several companies have already pulled their ads from “Hannity,” including Cars.com, USAA, and Peloton, among others. On Tuesday, Hannity responded to the Left’s organized attempts to cause him great professional and career harm.

"As for my job here at the Fox News Channel — there is an effort now abound to silence me," Hannity said. "Media Matters is attacking my advertising base."

"That is what we have called on this program as liberal fascism. Attack, boycott, all in an effort to silence conservatives. I serve at the pleasure of the Fox News Channel. I'm here to do my job every night," Hannity said.

The Fox News staple has been a consistent critic of boycott attempts to silence free speech. Just recently, Hannity refused to join in on the calls to fire “Late Show” host Stephen Colbert, after Colbert made particularly vulgar remarks about President Trump.

The Left does not share Sean Hannity’s respect for free speech. Conservatives on cable TV are especially susceptible to attack because of their reliance on advertising revenue to keep their shows on the air. Attacks on figures like Hannity show why the future of conservative media is cutting with the anti-conservative corporations that run cable TV.

How do we stop the mainstream media from warping the national narrative? We push back together. With the truth. Be the first to receive CRTV?s free weapon against the worst the media has to offer. Introducing WTF MSM!?
