MUST LISTEN: Mark Levin interviews Hill reporter about major Clinton scoop, partisan bias in the FBI

Friday on his radio program, CRTV host Mark Levin interviewed The Hill's John Solomon about his two recent bombshells related to Hillary Clinton, laws she may have broken, and potential partisans in the FBI and the Obama Justice Department who may have acted to protect her.

In the first story, Solomon reported Thursday that the original draft of former FBI Director James Comey's July 2016 statement exonerating Clinton concluded that Hillary Clinton and her top aides may have violated both felony and misdemeanor statutes, though Comey did not believe he could prove intent before a jury. This original draft was edited by FBI officials to remove language suggesting Clinton committed any crimes. Congress is investigating whether these edits were made as part of an effort by FBI subordinates to politically protect Clinton during the 2016 election.

"It is frightening to me that you have this kind of politicization of law enforcement at the highest levels, and the Democrat party is doing all it can to downplay this, is it not?" Levin asked Solomon. Solomon agreed, noting that the Democratic narrative is falling apart.

"The idea that Hillary Clinton was thoroughly investigated has been completely debunked, both on her email and on her foundation. And the idea that Donald Trump was in collusion with Russia and all of those hyperbolic stories that came out at the beginning of the presidency — those are also unraveling," Solomon said.

In the second story, Solomon reported on a new FBI investigation into whether the Clinton Foundation engaged in pay-to-play politics while Hillary Clinton served as secretary of state.

"It looks like this is a full scale investigation, and I really think it's what the FBI wanted to do two years ago," Solomon told Levin, noting that the Obama administration shut down previous FBI attempts to investigate the Clinton Foundation.

Solomon also previewed a new story he will report on next week that exposes ongoing partisan motives in the Russia investigation.

"I just went through, today, a whole bunch of text messages from a senior FBI official. I'm gonna report on these next week. You can see a very determined political motive to the advancement of the Russia investigation in December and January of 2016, 2017," Solomon said. "To see that so raw in a FBI agent's own text messages and emails ... very disconcerting."

"You just don't expect the guys that hold the power of FISA and surveillance to have that sort of partisan motive being expressed time and time again. I think that's gonna be the part that we're gonna remember from this investigation."
