A day after asking White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders if she had ever been sexually harassed, Playboy’s White House reporter Brian Karem was at it again.
At the end of Tuesday’s briefing, Karem asked Sanders to get the president into the press briefing. Think about that for a moment — the reporter for Playboy magazine asked a woman to bring in a man to answer the questions.
The question and answer portion of Tuesday’s briefing quickly moved to a tweet by President Donald Trump targeted at Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand, D-N.Y., earlier in the day. In that tweet Trump claimed that Gillibrand would do “anything” for campaign donations. The media and Gillibrand’s fellow Democrats have claimed the statement was a sexual one in nature.
Sanders answered, “This is the same sentiment that the president has expressed many times before — when he has exposed corruption of the entire political system. In fact, he’s used similar terminology many times when talking about politicians of both parties. Both men and women.”
The Daily Wire’s Ben Shapiro showed earlier in the day how that assertion by Sanders is true. Shapiro highlighted Trump using almost the exact same language with regard to former Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney in 2016.
As Sanders ended the briefing, one reporter could be heard shouting, “Could we please get the president out here in front of the podium?” CRTV’s White House correspondent Jon Miller, who was at the briefing, confirmed to Conservative Review that the reporter shouting was in fact Brian Karem.
It was a wholly inappropriate question. Karem asked Sanders for her boss to come in the room and address the press corps. Think about that for a moment. For all the talk about this being the #MeToo moment, and how women are denigrated in the workplace, a reporter for a magazine that objectifies women asked that a woman bring in a man to answer questions.
If this were a conservative journalist asking this of Dee Dee Myers during the Clinton administration the media would be rightly aghast. But because this was asked of President Trump’s female press secretary, the media are silent.
This question by Karem comes the day after he asked Sanders the wholly inappropriate question of whether she had ever been sexually harassed. Jon Miller explained how Karem was completely out of bounds with that question.

The silence by the mainstream media about Brian Karem’s frequent misogyny toward Sarah Sanders is deafening. It is yet another way in which they let their bias flag fly, for all the world to see.
