Upon entering office, Rep. Rashida Tlaib, D-Mich., infamously pledged, using extremely vulgar language, to “impeach the motherf—er,” referring to President Trump. Her efforts are off to a rough start.

Rep. Tlaib introduced a congressional resolution Wednesday: “Inquiring whether the House of Representatives should impeach Donald John Trump, President of the United States of America.”
The move comes in the wake of special counsel Robert Mueller exonerating President Trump of unproven claims — which originated with the DNC and the Hillary Clinton campaign — that he conspired with the Russian government to win the 2016 presidential election.

Nonetheless, Tlaib insists that the president must be impeached at once. But unfortunately for the Michigan congresswoman, of the 235 current House Democrats, she secured support from only one cosponsor for her resolution. That cosponsor is Rep. Al Green, D-Texas, who has continuously demanded President Trump’s impeachment. Green has called for the president’s impeachment since his first months in office. He was also the lone cosponsor of an impeachment resolution that was introduced in January of this year.

Rep. Tlaib continues to stand out for her overarching obsession with the state of Israel and her ties to radical figures.

So far during her short stint in office, the freshman congresswoman has cozied up to Islamist organizations and individual supporters of terrorist groups like Hamas and Hezbollah. Tlaib made waves this week when she claimed that someone who left a Post-it note at her office was “bullying” her for asking her to “stop the Jew hatred.” She has spent a considerable amount of time during her time in office flying around the country to fundraise for the Hamas-tied Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR). Tlaib’s campaign coffers were flooded with donations from individuals associated with CAIR and other Islamist organizations. On her first day in office, the self-identified Palestinian-American wiped Israel off of her office map. Additionally, she has voiced support for the BDS movement, which seeks Israel’s destruction.
