If Democrats win the House in November, Rep. Adam Schiff, D-Calif., who would become the chairman of the House Intelligence Committee, has promised to bog down the president in an array of Trump-Russia investigations.

The California congressman told CNN’s Wolf Blitzer last week that the Democrats’ Trump-Russia work “won’t stop when we take the majority,” adding that Democrats will pursue the case “very differently” once in power.

Schiff has routinely, without evidence, accused President Trump of colluding with the Russian government to win the 2016 presidential election. He has on multiple occasions said that he has evidence of collusion, but has yet to present any of it, now two years into the Trump presidency.

Schiff’s credibility has routinely been called into question. He has been on the wrong end of obvious pranks related to his investigation.

He has also developed a reputation as a reported leaker of sensitive information. President Trump has described the Democrat congressman as “one of the biggest liars and leakers in Washington.”
