Sharron Angle vs. Mark Amodei: LIVE Nevada primary election results

In Nevada's 2nd Congressional District, an original Tea Party candidate is attempting to make a political comeback by unseating a sitting member of Congress.

Sharron Angle, who challenged former Sen. Harry Reid, D-Nev., in 2010 and ran unsuccessfully for the 2016 Nevada Republican nomination for U.S. Senate is back. This time, she's running against Rep. Mark Amodei, R-Nev., a moderate Republican with a failing-grade Liberty Score®.  Her bid is considered a long shot.

Joel Beck and Ian Luetkehans are also running.

Nevada uses a closed primary system, meaning voters must be affiliated with a political party to vote in that party's primary election. The polls will close at 7:00 p.m. PT.
