Texas Lt. Gov. Dan Patrick to Mark Levin: Injured students told me 'we need to arm our teachers’

Friday on the radio, LevinTV host Mark Levin interviewed Texas Lt. Gov. Dan Patrick, R, about the latest updates on the school shooting in Santa Fe. Tragically, 10 people were killed in the attack.

Patrick is visiting those injured in the attack at the hospital. He told Levin that he had just met with a young man who was shot in the elbow. In his meetings with the injured and their families, Patrick said he and Gov. Greg Abbott have asked what should be done to prevent school shootings.

"They all said 'we need to arm our teachers,'" Patrick told Levin.

Listen:

Patrick told Levin that one student said there is a teacher at the school who served as a Marine. He thinks that if that Marine had been armed, he could have saved a few lives.
