WATCH: Dana Loesch at CPAC RIPS 'BS' media attacks on gun owners

After a contentious CNN town hall in which she was called a "murderer," NRA spokeswoman Dana Loesch is calling B.S. on media attempts to blame law-abiding gun owners and the NRA for the mass shooting at a school in Parkland, Florida.

"Many in legacy media love mass shootings," Loesch said at CPAC, gesturing to the media pen at the back of the conference hall. "Crying white mothers are ratings gold to you and many in the legacy media in the back."

"And notice I said 'crying white mothers,' because there are thousands of grieving black mothers in Chicago every weekend, and you don't see town halls for them, do you?" she asked.

"Where's the CNN town hall for Chicago? Where's the CNN town hall for sanctuary cities? Where was the CNN town for Jamiel Shaw Sr., whose son was murdered by someone who illegally entered the country and had been deported repeatedly? Where was his voice? Where was the voice of those junior ROTC members last night, CNN?"

Loesch was referring to reports that the CNN town hall on the Stoneman Douglas High School shooting featuring Loesch, Sen. Marco Rubio, and survivors of the shooting was scripted. An ROTC student, Colton Haab, claims that his questions on school safety and permitting veterans to help protect schools were censored. These kinds of questions conflict with the pro-gun control narrative in the media.

"If it bleeds it leads, doesn't it?" Loesch asked. "And I don't mean to ignore you all here, but I'm really looking at a lot of the legacy media back there on the platform, and you can write whatever you want about me, and you can come find me in the hallways, and you scream at me, and you can try to confront me, but I'm here. We're here. We're not going anywhere. I call B.S.!"

Loesch then pointed out that the FBI did not follow protocols when the Bureau was tipped off about the Parkland school shooter.

"We will not be gaslighted into thinking that we're responsible for a tragedy that we had nothing to do with," Loesch said speaking for herself and millions of NRA members in America. "It is not our job to follow up on red flags. It is not our job to make sure that states are reporting to the background check system!"

"A failure of law enforcement is not a failure of the law, it is a failure of enforcement."
