Hamas press agents … Ben Shapiro appeared on Fox News this morning to show just how disgusting the left-wing media’s support for Hamas terrorists is. Yesterday, the terrorist group staged an attack on the border between Gaza and Israel. The Israel Defense Forces responded like any sovereign nation should when faced with an attack on its borders. It fought back. But that’s not how the media portrayed it.
Conservative Review’s Chris Pandolfo has a recap of Shapiro’s appearance. Ben is absolutely right about Hamas’ goal of killing Israeli citizens. And the news media has lapped it up and characterized violent protests as peaceful. It’s all part of an agenda.
“Daddy’s Little Ghoul” … That was the front-page treatment of Ivanka Trump in the New York Daily News this morning. This disgusting bit of media bias really doesn’t need much commentary from me. So I’ll keep it short. If you are in the mainstream media and are reading this, let me sum it up: “This is why people voted for Donald Trump.” They did it as a reaction to you.
Photo op … To expand on what Shapiro was saying, I suggest you read this piece from Tablet Mag: “Palestinians in Gaza are dying for a photo-op.” It is a great read on just what exactly the goals of the Hamas terrorist organization were yesterday. In essence, Hamas organized the deaths of fellow Palestinians so that the news would be filled with that, instead of the joyous occasion of the opening of the new U.S. embassy in Jerusalem. In other words, “Mission accomplished.”

The first step is the hardest … On his weekly “Reliable Sources” television show this weekend, CNN’s media critic/cheerleader Brian Stelter took his first step on the road to recovery. He stood before the world and told guest Nicholas Kristof, “I’m a Trump addict.” Congratulations, Brian, the community here at WTF MSM!? supports you as you battle your Trump Derangement Syndrome affliction. As always, we’ll do our best to help you in recovery by reminding you when your hourly hot takes on Trump fall flat.
Glass houses … Yesterday, Stormy Daniels’ lawyer Michael Avenatti threatened two Daily Caller writers with a lawsuit for reporting on his past business dealings. The Seattle Times also reported on the subject, but Avenatti has not threatened anyone from that publication. NewsBusters’ Curtis Houck challenged CNN to stop acting as Avenatti’s lap dogs in light of his attack on journalists. Of course, CNN personalities who have become chummy with Avenatti just couldn’t help themselves.
First, Don Lemon had Avenatti on his program and barely challenged Avenatti’s assertions. Then Brian Stelter, arbiter of all that is unfair toward journalists and journalism, had this weak sauce about the spat in his daily email:
Michael Avenatti threatened to sue The Daily Caller in an off the record email to reporter Peter Hasson on Monday. “Hasson never agreed to the condition,” so he published it. Avenatti is standing by his claim that The Daily Caller engaged in “unethical conduct” while writing about him… And he says he may sue…
Wow! Such boldness in defense of his fellow journalists by Stelter. Let’s do a thought exercise. Replace the word Avenatti with Cohen, and replace the words The Daily Caller with The Washington Post. Would Stelter’s reaction be the same? Of course not.
Quick hits, Hamas terrorism edition … Here are some of the crazy headlines regarding the Hamas terrorist organized wave of Israel invaders.
If you’re a Cleveland Cavaliers fan, you may want to skip to the part where I ask you to email me. Sunday’s Celtics game vs. LeBron’s Cavaliers brought me back to the days of my youth, when Larry, Robert, Kevin, Walton, and the rest of the 1986 Celtics tore through the NBA. No, I’m not saying this Celtics team is that dominant, but they gave the Cavs a proper old-fashioned whoopin’ I’ve not seen from a Celtics team in the playoffs since the 1980s, and they are doing it without the two best players on the team.
A friend of mine who is a Cleveland fan seems concerned for the first time about the matchup and called Celtics coach Brad Stevens a “magician.” What are your thoughts on the state of the NBA and the playoffs? Let me know in an email to [email protected]. And as always, please let your friends know about WTF MSM!? by using the forward and subscribe buttons below.
