What a press conference … Yesterday, White House physician Ronny Jackson, who was appointed by President Obama, gave President Donald Trump a clean bill of health after a physical examination. Dr. Jackson then addressed the White House press corps and took questions. The question period lasted nearly an hour. Reporters were in a state of disbelief about the health of President Trump. Questions ranged from how he could be so healthy on a diet of McDonald’s to whether or not Trump has dementia. It was a sight to behold.
Gupta’s diagnosis … CNN’s chief medical correspondent, Dr. Sanjay Gupta, had a different diagnosis. Appearing on CNN Wednesday, Gupta said that the results of a test used to measure the amount of calcium in certain blood vessels mean that the president has heart disease. Gupta claimed that Dr. Jackson later conceded that is the case and that the problem can be controlled with cholesterol medications. Look for the media to use this to claim that the entire briefing was a farce.
Fitness … President Trump specifically asked Dr. Jackson to perform a test of his cognitive abilities. Trump passed with flying colors. Faced with that information, the chorus of media and Beltway types who have been questioning Trump’s mental “fitness” to be president has not subsided. The Washington Post’s fake conservative blogger, Jennifer Rubin, isn’t buying it. She tweeted: “Trump got a cognitive test not a psychiatric exam. Does not rule out most of what’s in DSM [Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders].” The reactions were harsh and quick. In his daily email, CNN media critic/cheerleader Brian Stelter said that the doctor “could not” answer all of the questions about Trump’s fitness for office. Facts be damned; a narrative needs to be pushed.

Fox impeachment documentary … While the MSM keeps alive fantasies about the impeachment of Donald Trump, Fox News is working on a documentary series about the impeachment of Bill Clinton. The seven-part series will begin on Sunday, January 21, and air at 8 p.m. ET. Variety reports that Fox hopes the limited-run series will turn into a regular series examining “moments in history.”
Narrative fail … The media tried nonstop to push the false notion that the Trump tax cut legislation would not be beneficial to Americans. After the bill’s passage, a seemingly unending wave of good news attributed to the new tax cuts has come in. Companies are using their savings to give bonuses, enact wage increases, hire more workers, and make capital investments. The American people are paying attention. A new poll by Survey Monkey for the New York Times shows an increasing number of people have a positive view of the tax cuts. While the number is still not a majority of Americans, it was taken before people see an increase in their pay checks, which is slated to happen by mid-February.
