WTF MSM!? Twitter CEO and "America's new civil war"

There’s no bias …

Whoa, Jack … Over the weekend, Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey described as “a good read” an essay calling for the end of bipartisanship and the political destruction of anyone who is not a leftist. This explains a lot about the business and censorship practices of Twitter. They come from the top.

Schlichter’s take … Townhall’s Kurt Schlichter says we shouldn’t be that worried about the plan from tech titans to take over American politics, though. In his latest column, Schlichter shows how flawed the plan Dorsey called a “good read” is: “basically, wishing.”  Of course, this doesn’t change the fact that Dorsey showed exactly who he is this weekend.

Constant drumbeat … Jack’s Twitter is but one part of how the Left is trying to make non-progressive thought disallowed. There is a constant drumbeat of bias from the media, Hollywood, and Silicon Valley to condition Americans to think the worst of those who hold traditional values.

My favorite show on network television is NBC’s “The Blacklist.” This season it has become preachier than in past seasons. Last week, I stopped watching the episode when the show tried to equate alt-right white supremacists with Christians and the Gadsden flag. The writers knew exactly what they were doing. I mentioned this in a chat group for “The Blacklist Exposed” podcast, and the hosts took up the issue in their latest podcast. You can listen to the discussion at about 54:20. “The Jo(h)ns” mentioned in the segment are the producers of the show, Jon Bokenkamp and John Eisendrath.

Deja vu …

LOL … There were a spate of laughable headlines from the media about the “Chappaquiddick” movie over the weekend. It’s been just about nine years since former Sen. Ted Kennedy’s death, and the media is still protecting him. The most laughable came from a NY Times op-ed that says the movie is not “factual” and is tantamount to “character assassination.” Yes, even in the midst of #MeToo, the press is still running cover for a man who drove a car into a river and left a woman to die. Some things never change.

“Half true” … PolitiFact continued its assault on common sense this past weekend. Its “fact-check” of Donald Trump’s tweet about “caravans” of illegal immigrants coming for the U.S. border with Mexico, was rated “half true” because there was only one caravan. As NewsBusters reports, there have been multiple caravans, just not yet this year. Once again, the bias of PolitiFact is clouding its “fact-checking.”

Shows you’ve stopped watching …

After shutting off “The Blacklist” last week, I was wondering if there were any scripted TV shows that readers of WTF MSM!? have started turning off because of bias.  Have you stopped watching a show that at one time you really enjoyed?
