Happy Thanksgiving …

I hope that you and yours have a truly happy and blessed Thanksgiving. Here at Conservative Review, we are taking the time to relax, unwind, and recharge with family and friends. Enjoy today’s email, and I’ll see you again on Monday.

What are you thankful for? …

Huckabee Sanders shares gratefulness … During Monday’s White House press conference, press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders shared what she is thankful for this year. She mentioned the military, her family, cops and first responders, and the press corps sitting in front of her. She thought it would be nice to have the press mention what they are thankful for, before asking questions. That led Business Insider to report: “Sarah Huckabee Sanders forces White House reporters to say what they're thankful for.” Really, she tried to do something nice and unifying, and she forced them?

Saying thank you can be hard … On a lighter note, if you want a good laugh — or groan, depending on your state of mind — watch this exchange between LaVar Ball and CNN's Chris Cuomo, where the two try to get each other to say thank you. It’s hard to feel bad for Cuomo, but you can’t watch that interview and not take Cuomo’s side.

Bias watch …

WaPo reporter on Soros’ retreat panel … The Washington Free Beacon reports today that Washington Post reporter Janell Ross appeared on a panel about “getting the economic narrative right” at George Soros’ Democracy Alliance confab held in California. Ross is on the reporting, not opinion, side of the Post and was at a hyper-partisan conference designed to develop strategies for progressives and the “Resistance.” The Free Beacon’s Brent Scher reports that Ross did not tell her bosses at the Post that she was attending. Ross must be just another non-biased objective reporter the journalism organizations tell us about.

Good on Tapper … Teen Vogue columnist Emily Lindin recently tweeted: “Here's an unpopular opinion: I'm actually not at all concerned about innocent men losing their jobs over false sexual assault/harassment allegations.” CNN’s Jake Tapper didn’t hold back in his condemnation of Lindin, tweeting: “I’m guessing you didn’t get a good grade for your 7th grade book report on To Kill A Mockingbird.” The entire thread between the two is a great read. As I’ve said before, Tapper goes after both sides, and it’s great to see.

NOTE: After I prepared my email newsletter but before I sent it, Lindin protected her Twitter account so that only those she allows to follow her can see her tweets. That is why you’ll only see one side of the conversation. Here is an archived version of her original tweet.

Malkin: Lindin is a disgrace … After her “Michelle Malkin Investigates” episode on the railroading of Oklahoma City police officer Daniel Holtzclaw, CRTV host Michelle Malkin dug into the disgrace of wrongful convictions. After Lindin’s tweet, Malkin tore into the columnist in a series of tweets. Learn more about wrongful convictions in this FREE episode of “Michelle Malkin Investigates”.

Tell a friend …
