WTF MSM!? "Where does it stop?"

WTF MSM!? "Where does it stop?"

The one where Trump was right …

Washington is next … The media lost their minds when Trump asked the question on Monday, “This week, it is Robert E. Lee and this week, Stonewall Jackson. Is it George Washington next? You have to ask yourself, where does it stop?” Except it took exactly one day for Trump to be proven right. A pastor is starting a movement in Chicago to rename Chicago’s Washington Park, because Washington was a slave owner.

Oh, and Faneuil Hall … The other building that needs a name change, according to folks on the Left, is Boston’s historic Faneuil Hall — where, coincidentally, my mom became a U.S. citizen. But no, really, there are calls to take that down as well.

But Trump does himself no favors … While Trump was right that the revision of history isn’t going to stop with Confederate monuments, his team does him no favors. Circumventing the White House press operation, Trump’s personal lawyer forwarded an email comparing Washington and Lee and glorifying the Confederate cause. The worst part? He sent this email to journalists.

Some hard facts …

Jake Tapper learns truth about Antifa … Jake Tapper had a mini-tweetstorm last night about the fact that Antifa thugs — he labels them counter-protesters — attacked journalists. He seemed surprised this happened. Tapper showed how Antifa lied about the attack on Facebook. “Woke” is the new parlance, right? So maybe this attack on his fellow journalists will get Tapper woke on the truth about Antifa.

Overwhelming majority against taking down statues … Domenico Montanaro, of NPR, tweeted out a statistic yesterday from the NPR/ Marist poll taken in the aftermath of Charlottesville. According to it, 62 percent of those polled are against tearing down Confederate statues. Trump’s immediate response was less than stellar, but the fact remains that a large swath of the country agrees with him on the monuments.

Devoid of facts … The Washington Post published an “analysis” piece — which seems to be the Post’s word for op-ed these days — by the author of “Antifa: The Anti-Fascist Handbook.” The piece was explaining what Antifa is. No surprise, then, that the guy writing the handbook on how to be Antifa says the group isn’t a global network, nor overly violent. They’re just a bunch of folks fighting fascists in many forms. The one truth in his article: He admits they are communists.

Tell a friend …
