3 radical moves Democrats could make in the 2024 election
If you were planning on a quiet start to 2024, then you’re in for a rude awakening.
The beginning of election season is only weeks away, and Democrats are already doing what they do best: playing dirty and trying to get Donald Trump out of the race.
“You have one side saying all they care about is democracy as they’re trying to get the other guy removed from the ballot,” Stu Burguiere tells Glenn Beck, who notes that not one but two states are attempting to remove him.
Those attempting to remove Trump from the ballot are invoking the 14th Amendment — even though he hasn’t even been charged with insurrection.
But the Democrats won’t stop there, and Glenn believes they’re about to play even dirtier.
“I really believe the Democrats are going to do their superdelegate, which can vote differently than the public,” Glenn says, explaining that the superdelegate is a “hand-selected group of people that the party elites select.”
If the elites “feel for the party or for democracy’s sake the people have been duped, they can override their vote,” he adds.
As Joe Biden continues to lose ground in the polls, Glenn thinks they may have no choice.
While it’s too late in the game to get on the ballot, it’s not too late to throw in someone who seems to have been secretly campaigning for a long time.
“You can’t even get anyone on the ballot,” Glenn says, but “superdelegates stand in and they say, 'You know what? For the good of the country, we need somebody that can unite us all. And that would be Michelle Obama.'"
“This is Soviet Union stuff,” Glenn continues. “The next step, honestly, is to put your opponent in jail.”
“And it’s all under the context of an argument for democracy,” Stu adds in awe.
