Is Aaron Rodgers' flop in New York due to age or injury? Jason Whitlock says NEITHER

Last NFL season, Jets fans rejoiced when celebrated quarterback Aaron Rodgers left Wisconsin for New York, but three snaps into the first game, Rodgers tore his Achilles tendon and was out for the rest of the year.

But now, a healed Rodgers is ready to take on the 2024 season — except it doesn’t appear that he is actually ready.

“The Jets can't score; Aaron Rodgers looks like a shell of himself; he's throwing interceptions; he cost the Jets the game [last Sunday],” says Jason Whitlock.

What’s going on? Is Rodgers’ age finally catching up to him? He is the oldest player in the NFL after all. Or was his Achilles injury a career-ender?

Jason says it’s something else entirely that’s causing Aaron Rodgers to backslide.

“Football and the quarterback position cannot be your side hustle, and that's what Aaron Rodgers has done to his football career,” says Jason. “The man spent the off season thinking about running for vice president with RFK; he spent the off season in Egypt rather than attending a mandatory OTA [Organized Team Activities].”

“He’s taken the game for granted, and this will not be a replay of the 2015 Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers,” he assures.

However, Aaron Rodgers and the New York Jets aren’t the only 2024 flops, according to Jason.

'He couldn't walk off the stage': Aaron Rodgers mocks Biden for challenging Trump to carry his own golf clubs

Super Bowl-winning quarterback Aaron Rodgers mocked President Biden for issuing a challenge to Donald Trump to carry his own golf bag if they were to play against each other.

The commentary stemmed from the presidential debate in June, when the two presidents argued over their golf handicaps.

"I'm in very good health. I just won two club championships, not even senior, two regular club championships," Trump bragged.

The current president then said his golf game has come a long way, too.

"I'd be happy to have a driving contest with him. I got my handicap when I was vice president down to a six. By the way, I told you before I'm happy to play golf with if you carry your own bag," Biden replied.

"The biggest lie — that he's a six handicap — of all," Trump added.

'Nothing really ever changes. All they do is just talk about what they're going to do and then nothing.'

The New York Jets star was taking in some golf in Lake Tahoe when he brought up the debate with podcasters Eric Sollenberger and Dan Katz.

"Did you enjoy the debate? Did you watch?" Rodgers asked the hosts.

"Loved the debate," Sollenberger replied. "I watched that; made me fall in love with America. I was, like, we got the two best guys for the job, I'm happy about that."

Rodgers then brought up the presidential golfing conversation.

"When they started talking about golf, Trump just actually said recently a million dollars [bet]; he would give Joe 10 strokes a side."

"My favorite part about it that kind of got under the radar was that Biden's like, get, was 'you got to carry your own bag.' This is a guy who couldn't walk off the stage," he exclaimed.

Since the debate, Biden has dropped out of the race, while Trump has taken to the links with PGA Tour star Bryson DeChambeau.

"I say get them in singlets, let them wrestle it out," Rodgers joked on "Pardon My Take."

The conversation then free-flowed about golf before eventually transitioning into Rodgers commenting on the back-and-forth support he's received from political parties.

"I saw your tee shot. It wasn't that great," Sollenberger said.

"Ok, which one?" Rodgers asked.

"The one that went way far off to the right, like your politics," the host laughed.

Rodgers took the chance to recall his previous political golfing controversies:

"I love when people try and cancel me. When I play golf with Obama, I was, like, a leftist, and the right try to cancel me. ... Then I was on Team Kennedy, so everybody tried to cancel me politically. Then I didn't shake Trump's hand so the right tried to get after me again, then they realized I actually had shaken his hand, and they reverse course."

Rodgers went on to cite Bernie Sanders in 2016 and the John Podesta emails as times when the populous was able to see into the window of the political parties' true intentions.

"I think politics, I've said from the beginning, is an absolute sham," he explained. "Nothing really ever changes. All they do is just talk about what they're going to do and then nothing. Life doesn't actually get better for any of us, whether it's a Republican or Democrat, and we're still just doing the same f***ing two-party system and not letting Bobby [Kennedy] get in or anybody else."

The group went on to discuss term limits, age limits, and former Speaker Nancy Pelosi's stock portfolio.

"She's a hell of a stock trader," Rodgers said.

'Nobody can control me': Aaron Rodgers responds to hit pieces from 'establishment' that sees him as 'dangerous'

'Nobody can control me': Aaron Rodgers responds to hit pieces from 'establishment' that sees him as 'dangerous'

NFL quarterback Aaron Rodgers responded to hit pieces about him and claimed that the mainstream media was afraid that he couldn't be silenced.

Speaking on the "I Can Fly" podcast, Rodgers responded to attacks in the media that circulated when he was rumored to be a running mate for Robert F. Kennedy Jr. ahead of the 2024 presidential election.

"I got mentioned as a finalist to be, you know, vice president on a ticket, and they f***ing attacked me with some bizarre story from years ago. There was a third-hand account or something," Rodgers said. The player was referring to claims that he had spread "false Sandy Hook conspiracy theories."

CNN said the conspiracy theories were stated in "private conversations" in 2013.

Rodgers alluded to the fact that despite the hit pieces, he cannot be controlled, nor is he truly beholden to anyone.

"They’re terrified. They’re terrified of people that think for themselves, that aren’t controlled. I’m not beholden to anybody. I have a contract. I can get cut at any point. I have very few sponsors now. They’re all people that I really believe in, and there’s some sort of equity investment in it. But I’m not controlled. Nobody controls my messaging. Nobody controlling my social media. Nobody can control me. You know, I think for myself. I speak for myself. And that’s dangerous to an establishment that wants more power, control, and obedience."

Rodgers stated that he didn't believe that either President Biden or President Trump could bring about actual change and cited "bums" in government who have participated in "insider trading."

The four-time NFL MVP also pointed to homelessness, inflation, and employment as other markers that America is headed in the wrong direction.

I would much rather have Aaron Rodgers in Congress over a lot of the crooked clowns there now. He can be a modern-day Jack Kemp 🇺🇸🫡
— (@)

"As we give billions of dollars to Ukraine to fight a proxy war, we have a southern border that's being invaded. ... The country's in a bad place, and it's not going to get better," he continued. "It’s not going to get better with 'Weekend at Bernie's' [Biden], who can barely put a sentence together, if that’s even him," Rodgers said.

"Why not make a change?" he asked.

In addition to stating that he would continue to spread Kennedy's message, Rodgers said that the current two-party system "doesn't work" and that Kennedy is "putting himself on the line."

The New York Jets player added that supporting people who have a belief in doing good is what makes America exceptional.

'One of the greatest' teammates ever: Aaron Rodgers is a great friend and huge mental health advocate, says former teammate

Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Marquez Valdes-Scantling heaped praise on quarterback Aaron Rodgers, saying that the controversial figure is one of the greatest teammates he's ever had.

Two-time Super Bowl Champion Valdes-Scantling was a teammate of Rodgers for the first four years of his career with the Green Bay Packers before moving on to the Chiefs where he has seen great success.

While on the "Zach Gelb Show," the CBS Sports Radio host asked the receiver about the perception that has been painted of Rodgers due to his media presence on several dividing issues.

"What kind of teammate was he?" Gelb asked.

"Man, he’s one of the greatest you’ll ever find. He cares more about his teammates than about the game of football. You know, I think that’s something that people really don’t understand. Because people get this perception of him that he’s this diva or all about himself, that’s the furthest thing from the truth."

Rodgers has been a strong mental health advocate in the past, one of the reasons he has openly been against vaccine mandates and lockdowns. He has been at odds with Dr. Anthony Fauci, who was at one point the head of the United States coronavirus task force.

"If science is Dr. Fauci, you're damn right I'm defying science," Rodgers said in October 2023.

Valdes-Scantling said that Rodgers has helped him with his mental health, explaining that even though they are high-level athletes and public figures, they have many of the same mental hurdles as anyone else.

"Aaron has taught me so much on the field and off the field, he's a big advocate of mental health and how you approach life, and not even just football, the things he's gone through over the years, he shares that."

Valdes-Scantling added that not only does Rodgers routinely send him text messages to congratulate him or to tell him that he is proud of his accomplishments but that he has shared his perspective on many of his ongoing controversial opinions.

Rodgers has not been shy about hitting back at media members who have pushed certain narratives, even having a very public feud with late-night talk show host Jimmy Kimmel. Their disagreements even culminated in Kimmel threatening to sue Rodgers over comments he made surrounding the Jeffrey Epstein list related to child sex trafficking.

In addition, Rodgers has mocked Valdes-Scantling's teammate, Travis Kelce, for his vaccine advocacy, coining the name "Mr. Pfizer" due to the player appearing in advertisements for the pharmaceutical company.

Valdes-Scantling won both of his Super Bowls with the Chiefs, in 2022 and 2023.

CNN’s Aaron Rodgers Hit Piece Proves Corporate Media Works For Democrats

On the very same day that high-ranking Democrats express their fears about Aaron Rodgers, CNN ignores every fundamental standard of journalistic ethics to slam him.

Robert F. Kennedy’s VP Short List Includes Aaron Rodgers, Jesse Ventura

Rodgers has been a longtime advocate for Kennedy's candidacy and the pair have been speaking "pretty continuously" for the past month

Check out what Joe Rogan and Aaron Rodgers had to say about the media’s blistering attacks

Joe Rogan and Aaron Rodgers are no strangers to controversy. The fact that these two have dared to share thoughts contrary to those promoted by the radical left have resulted in both men being crucified by the liberal-owned media.

But that hasn’t stopped either of them from fighting the woke mind virus. Dave Rubin is encouraged by Rogan and Rodgers’ willingness to share their red-pilling experiences because it’s people like them who are encouraging others to “wake up.”

A couple of days ago, Rodgers, who the media has painted as a “conspiracy theorist” and a “racist,” was invited on “The Joe Rogan Experience” again to discuss Big Pharma’s iron grip on the narrative.

“They are f***ing controlling the message,” Rodgers said, adding that “the alphabet companies,” such as the CDC and the NIH, “have been lying and misleading the public for so long.”

Rodgers explained that the reason people, including himself and Rogan, get “slaughtered by the media” for speaking out or even questioning the narrative is because it’s Big Pharma “who’s paying [the media].”

“It’s corporate controlled,” agreed Rogan, and “it's not beneficial to the greater good of society.”

Dave remembers how, during the height of the pandemic, “they'd be covering COVID on NBC News, CNN, ABC, etc. and then they'd cut to commercial – ‘Brought to you by Pfizer.”

“Oh really? So you're taking money from the very people who you are supposed to be objectively talking about and criticizing where criticism is due?” he scoffs.

CNN specifically went to great lengths to villainize Rogan for his position on COVID. Dave plays an old clip from CNN of Rogan explaining how he used “ivermectin” and other tried-and-true medications to treat COVID next to the original clip Rogan posted himself.

In CNN’s version, Rogan’s face is a sickly shade of greenish-gray, whereas in the original clip, his coloring is completely normal.

“At the exact same time as all of this was unfolding, suddenly for two weeks the entire mainstream media was calling Joe Rogan racist because they unearthed videos of him saying the n-word even though he was not saying it in a racist way; he was saying it to mock the people who actually are racist,” Dave recounts, clearly showing the media’s obvious motivation to de-platform and defame Rogan for being a nonconformist.

On the subject of motivation, Rodgers had something to say about what fuels companies like CNN and people like Jimmy Kimmel, who also blasted Rogan on his show for taking “horse goo” instead of getting vaccinated.

“I lost friends, allies in the media [and] millions of dollars in sponsorship because I talked about what worked for me, my own beliefs, and my own health reasons [behind] why I didn't get vaccinated,” Rodgers explained.

“They vilified all early treatments,” including widely used ivermectin — a Nobel Prize-winning drug — because if they hadn’t, they wouldn’t have gotten “the [user acquisition].”

“The point of all this,” says Dave, “is that when you stand up, there is going to be a cost.”

Luckily, “the truth does work over time.”

'I never said he’ll never be on the show again': Pat McAfee clears up Aaron Rodgers rumors after Jimmy Kimmel controversy

Popular podcast host Pat McAfee explained the real reason Aaron Rodgers will stop making weekly appearances on his podcast after accusations that he had suspended the NFL quarterback from his show due to controversial remarks.

Rodgers had been taking part in exchanges with late-night talk show host Jimmy Kimmel for the better part of a year since revelations about Jeffrey Epstein's client list surfaced.

In March 2023, Kimmel called Rodgers a tin foil hat-wearer and a "Green Bay wackpacker" for discussing the possible release of a list of names related to the Epstein child-trafficking scandal.

In early 2024, Kimmel threatened to sue Rodgers for comments he made once again regarding the Epstein list.

"There’s a lot of people, including Jimmy Kimmel, are really hoping that doesn't come out," Rodgers said on "The Pat McAfee Show."

Kimmel responded on social media as if this was a direct accusation by Rodgers, despite him referencing the previous 2023 comments made by the host.

"Dear A***hole: for the record, I’ve not met, flown with, visited, or had any contact whatsoever with Epstein, nor will you find my name on any 'list' other than the clearly-phony nonsense that soft-brained wackos like yourself can’t seem to distinguish from reality," Kimmel wrote on X.

Following the end of the 2023 NFL season, McAfee announced that Rodgers would no longer appear on his show for the time being and that he was happy to be avoiding any political controversy in the near future.

"So 'Aaron Rodgers Tuesday,' season 4 is done," McAfee said before clapping. "There are going to be a lot of people that happy with that, myself included to be honest."

This prompted a steady flow of articles that appeared to imply that McAfee (or parent company ESPN/Disney) had purposely pulled the plug on future appearances by the four-time NFL MVP.

CNN even made an anonymous claim that a "person familiar with the matter" said that cancellation of Rodgers' appearances was due to "his recent behavior, not the conclusion of the regular NFL season."

McAfee then made a lengthy post on X explaining that the reason was indeed the end of Rodgers' season, with his team the New York Jets failing to make the playoffs.

"Our fans know that ['Aaron Rodgers Tuesdays'] ends shortly after Aaron’s team’s season ends.. that’s how it’s been. He’ll make random surprise welcomed pop ins during big events or offseason adventures but, it’s always been a season thing. I never said he’ll never be on the show again. I hope he chooses to still chat with us."

McAfee went on explain that his show was not very fond of being involved in "political wars and public beefs," adding that he and his fellow co-hosts will try to "avoid as many as possible" in the future.

Aaron Rodgers body-bags Jimmy Kimmel and refuses to apologize; then he exposes the media's 'game plan' against dissenters

Aaron Rodgers is not apologizing.

The NFL quarterback responded on Tuesday to late-night talk show host Jimmy Kimmel on Tuesday and the controversy involving comments he made last week when he allegedly suggested that Kimmel's name would be found in the tranche of Jeffrey Epstein court documents. Kimmel threatened to sue Rodgers and dedicated a monologue on his show to attacking the star quarterback.

Speaking on the "The Pat McAfee Show," Rodgers suggested his comments were intentionally misinterpreted.

According to Rodgers, the beef between Kimmel and himself dates back to the COVID-19 pandemic when Kimmel mocked Rodgers for being skeptical of the COVID-19 vaccine and dominant government narratives about the pandemic. Kimmel, according to Rodgers, turned out to be wrong about the shot despite saying that medical care should be withheld from those who didn't take it.

The second issue, according to Rodgers, is that Kimmel believed Rodgers is "an overly concussed wacko" for believing that an Epstein client list exists.

"Fast forward to this last week and I said that 'a lot of people, including Jimmy Kimmel, are really hoping that doesn't come out' — that's the entire quote," Rodgers explained.

"I was referring to the fact that if there is a list ... and there are names on it, then that would be the second time that a soft-brained, junior college student, wacko, anti-vax, anti-Semite, purveyor of misinformation, conspiracy theorist, MAGA — whatever other things that have been said by him and other people in the media — would be right twice," he added, mocking his critics.

Rodgers acknowledged that he understands "how serious an allegation of pedophilia" is and thus he understands why Kimmel is upset. But, referring back to the quote of his comment that invoked Kimmel, Rodgers said he made no such suggestion against Kimmel.

"I’m not stupid enough — even though you think I'm an idiot and you made a lot of comments about my intelligence — but I'm not stupid enough to accuse you of that with absolutely zero evidence, concrete evidence. That's ridiculous," Rodgers explained.

— (@)

Later in the interview, Rodgers slammed ESPN senior VP Mike Foss for releasing a statement accusing Rodgers of making a "dumb and factually incorrect joke" about Kimmel.

"Mike, you're not helping. You're not helping because I just read earlier exactly what I said," Rodgers began.

"This is the game plan of the media. This is what they do. They try and cancel," he continued. "And it's not just me — it's nowhere near just me. If you look at all the different people who've been censored from the internet — especially during COVID. The canceling that went on, the censorship, using the government to try and censor people that happened."

According to Rodgers, when media outlets' attempts at canceling people do not work, they resort to "name-calling," which he said also doesn't work because people can see the truth for themselves.

"This is the game plan they use. Incorrect, but that's the environment we're in," he said.
