'Honestly sad to watch': Questions arise about Biden's condition following new videos of president seemingly 'confused'
New videos have surfaced of Joe Biden that left many netizens expressing concern over the condition of the current president.
President Biden gave a speech in Pennsylvania on Friday on the eve of the third anniversary of the riot at the U.S. Capitol building. Biden used his speech held near Valley Forge to accuse former President Donald Trump of being a threat to democracy. The speech was Biden's first political event of the election year.
"Donald Trump's campaign is obsessed with the past, not the future," Biden said. "He's willing to sacrifice our democracy, [to] put himself in power."
"Today, I make this sacred pledge to you, the defense, protection, and preservation of American democracy will remain, as it has been, the central cause of my presidency. America, as we begin this election year, we must be clear, democracy is on the ballot. Your freedom is on the ballot."
Speaking of the events of January 6, Biden claimed, "We nearly lost America — lost it all."
As Biden ended his speech, Jill Biden rushes to the stage and escorts the president.
The official account on the X social media platform posted a video of President Biden being led off stage with the caption: "Jill, Ed.D., escorts Biden off the stage following his remarks."
Video shows the first lady lead the president off stage and as soon as she believes she is out of camera view she immediately drops his hand.

Numerous online commentators questioned the manner that President Biden was escorted off the stage.
GOP rapid response director Jake Schneider said, "She's walking him off the stage like a child."
Conservative influencer Benny Johnson wrote, "I’m convinced Joe Biden should be followed by a full crew of tarmac air traffic controllers with light wands to guide him off stage full-time."

The Daily Mail said of Biden's exit, "Jill Biden rushed to embrace zoned-out Biden after he finished speech, then went into trance-like state on-stage."
Biden returned to Delaware later that day.
Online commentators also suggested that President Biden looked "confused" after stepping off the Marine One helicopter.
The video was captioned: "After two weeks of vacation and a 32-minute speech, Biden is back in Delaware for a weekend respite. He was VERY confused upon landing."
The footage shows Biden looking from side to side, then peering back at the helicopter until a man in uniform guides the president to the motorcade.

Washington, D.C. reporter Paul Bedard noted, "I covered White House for 10 years and never saw a president have interactions/directions like these."
Trump advocate Karoline Leavitt added, "This is honestly sad to watch."
In June 2023, the octogenarian president appeared to need guidance to walk off a stage after making a perplexing comment about the late Queen Elizabeth.
In February 2022, President Biden seemingly needed assistance in exiting the stage after a speech.
In December 2021, a CNN reporter admitted that Biden looked "confused."
In June 2021, Biden suffered several mental lapses and gaffes at the G7 summit. At one point, fellow world leaders openly laughed at Biden over his forgetfulness.
Joe Biden – who is running for reelection – is currently 81 years old. If he were to win the 2024 presidential election, he would be 86 years old at the end of his second term.

White House mops up another embarrassing Biden gaffe, this time confusing immigration and the mask mandate
The White House was forced to mop up a mess left by President Joe Biden after he made another embarrassing gaffe when a reporter asked him about the rescission of the Title 42 border policy.
Biden appeared to mistake the issue of Title 42 on Thursday with that of the judge's order that ended the public transit mask mandate.
"Are you considering delaying lifting Title 42?" asked the reporter.
"No. What I'm considering is continuing to hear from my - first of all, there's going to be an appeal by the Justice Department," Biden responded.
"Because as a matter of principal we want to be in a position where if in fact it is strongly concluded by the scientists that we need Title 42, that we be able to do that,” he added. “But there has been no decision on extending Title 42.”
Video of Biden's gaffe went viral on social media among his critics and detractors.
"When asked about Title 42, President Biden gave an incoherent answer about mask mandates," tweeted Republican Sen. Tom Cotton of Arkansas.

"For the good of the country, he needs to stop speaking extemporaneously in public," he added.
Later on in the day, the White House released a statement in Biden's voice offering a clarification on his confused comments.
“I want to clarify that, in comments at the conclusion of my remarks this morning, I was referring to the CDC’s mask mandate and there is no Department of Justice action on Title 42,” Biden said in the statement.
The White House has often issued clarifications to mistakes Biden makes in public comments, but it is rare that they issue a personal statement from the president to clarify them.
The gaffe is the latest in numerous examples where Biden has made confusing comments. Critics have cited these videos to bolster the campaign to force Biden out of office based on provisions in Amendment 25 on presidents who are unable to fulfill the duties of the presidency.
