This doctor warned about Fauci 20 years ago. Will we listen before it’s too late?

Blaze News managing editor Leon Wolf, who’s usually behind the scenes, found himself on “The Glenn Beck Program” this morning.

This rare occurrence is due to an even rarer occurrence when Dr. Richard Ebright — a molecular biologist who’s long avoided the public eye, preferring to speak mostly in esoteric circles — agreed to an interview with Wolf.

His conversation with Dr. Ebright is laid out in detail in his latest article “Lab wars: Inside one Democrat's 20-year crusade to save the world from Anthony Fauci — Part 1: 2001-2014.” Wolf appeared on Glenn’s program to talk about this article.

“There's been a lot of discussion about gain-of-function research, and I wanted to get an understanding,” says Wolf.

For those unfamiliar with the term, gain-of-function research is the practice of tampering with organisms (i.e. viruses) to alter their biological function (i.e. increase virulence, transmissibility, etc.).

The deeper Wolf dove into the research — including reports dating all the way back to 2001 — “there was one name that continued to pop up over and over and over again.”

“His name is Dr. Richard Ebright,” and it turns out he’s been warning people about Anthony Fauci “for two decades.”

After 9/11, as the fear of bioweapons mounted, Anthony Fauci began touting gain-of-function research, claiming that it would make us safer. Dr. Ebright, however, claimed the opposite — that it would be our demise.

“Ebright’s position, which I think has been vindicated, is that the more biological agents that you put in the hands of researchers, the more dangerous — and not less dangerous — it would make it because historically (and this is true), most biological attacks have not been carried out by terrorists; they've been carried out by people who are researchers,” says Wolf, noting that Ebright also correctly predicted that an “authorized government researcher” was responsible for the 2001 Anthrax outbreak.

Fast forward to 2020, and Ebright’s prediction that Fauci’s obsession with gain-of-function research would culminate into a catastrophe of epic proportions came true.

And yet during the pandemic, “Fauci [convinced] the world that he's somehow the good guy in all this,” says Wolf.

However, four years have passed since COVID swept the globe, and skepticism regarding the virus’ origins are at an all-time high.

Perhaps the world is finally ready to hear Dr. Ebright.

Did Kristi Noem ACTUALLY meet with the 'Little Tyrant' of North Korea?

The plot has thickened with Kristy Noem’s new memoir — and by “thickened,” we mean it’s gotten weirder.

Not only does the memoir recall the sad story of Noem taking her puppy, Cricket, out back and shooting it, but according to the book, she also met North Korean leader Kim Jong Un.

“I remember when I met with North Korean dictator Kim Jong Un. I’m sure he underestimated me, having no clue about my experience staring down little tyrants (I’d been a children’s pastor, after all),” Noem wrote.

This has become an issue because it never happened.

When confronted about the lie on the news, Noem replied, “As soon as this was brought to my attention, I certainly made some changes.”

“Wait a minute,” Pat Gray says, shocked. “Brought to your attention? You wrote the book.”

“If it’s a ghost writer that’s responsible for misremembering her stories, then she should have already used that out on the Cricket story, which would have paved the way for an out,” Keith Malinak agrees.

And when Noem was pressed further, asking for confirmation that she did not meet with Kim Jong Un — she chose to keep it weird.

“I’ve met with many, many world leaders, many world leaders. I’ve traveled around the world. I think I’ve talked extensively in this book about my time serving in Congress,” she responded. “I’m not going to talk about my specific meetings with world leaders, I’m just not going to do that. This anecdote shouldn’t have been in the book,” she added.

Gray is disappointed.

“I really like her. This is just so unfortunate,” he says.

Joe Exotic tells ALL from PRISON: Netflix EXPLOITED feud with Carole Baskin; the two never even met

Alex Stein was lucky enough to score an interview with the wild Joe Exotic from jail — and it did not disappoint.

But this isn’t his first interview, as Exotic has been seriously making the rounds. Through doing so, he has learned a bit about his old arch nemesis Carole Baskin.

“I did one with the news station out of Tampa, and they interviewed Carole right before they interviewed me, and she is now even saying on television that Netflix exploited the feud that we had going on,” Exotic tells Stein.

According to Exotic, Baskin told the news station that the two “had never met” and the “feud wasn’t as bad as Netflix portrayed it to be.”

Exotic went on to tell Stein that there was a double agent named Ashley working at his park who had gone undercover for Carole.

“She was the one that was testifying on Carole for Carole at my trial, but they wouldn’t let her because they caught her lying, so she never got to testify. But yeah, she’s Carole’s informant,” Exotic says.

When Stein was setting up the interview, he had an exchange with Howard Baskin. Baskin told Stein “there are no hard feelings” between him an Exotic, but he still thinks “he’s a liar.”

“It would be really nice if just one person in the interview media profession actually challenged Joe on all his lies instead of just letting him blather on with nodding heads,” Howard wrote.

“I don’t know what Howard wants me to admit to. I’ve admitted to shooting the Tigers; I don’t know what else to admit to. But I didn’t pay Allen to go kill Carole,” Exotic says.

“Well, and I appreciate that,” Stein says. “That’s why I have your back.”

Exotic has a message for his old friends.

“What I need them to realize though, is in order to move on, they got to remember that I’m a human being, and my parents died, and I’m no longer going to own animals, and it needs to be over. But it doesn’t need to be over that they can move on with their free life, and Joseph finishes a 21-year prison sentence for something he didn’t do,” he tells Stein.

“I think that’s fair,” Stein says.

Bird flu deaths cause egg prices to spike just in time for Easter

American families looking to pick up Easter eggs to color at the grocery store or who just want a protein-packed breakfast are in for an unpleasant surprise.

While inflation is already slamming grocery shoppers in their pocket books, the price of eggs is predicted to surge even higher because of a bad case of the bird flu.

The U.S. Department of Agriculture, Animal and Plant Inspection Service said Monday that 21 states have confirmed cases of highly pathogenic avian influenza, which is infecting and killing poultry both on commercial farms and in people's backyards.

The agency said that more than 17 million chickens and turkeys have died because of the disease. An estimated 3% of the total U.S. flock — more than 11 million egg-laying chickens — have died, as well as two million commercially raised turkeys.

Thankfully, there have been no reported cases of humans contracting the bird flu. According to the World Health Organization and the CDC, bird flu is transmitted when people come into contact with the saliva, mucous, or feces of infected birds. There is no evidence that the disease can be transmitted from poultry that has been cooked properly, and the USDA and National Turkey Federation have said that bird flu does not pose a food safety concern.

But the widespread deaths of egg-producing poultry has created a supply shock at the same time seasonal demand for eggs will increase over the upcoming Easter and Passover holidays — meaning prices are going to go up.

Shelled egg prices have spiked more than 50% to $2.88 a dozen since Feb. 8, when the first case of bird flu was identified in a commercial turkey flock in Indiana, CNET reports.

The last time bird flu swept through U.S. farms in 2015, egg prices nearly doubled and the industry lost more than $1.5 billion.

"Egg availability heading into Easter is sure to be hampered," said Brian Earnest, an animal protein economist at CoBank. Earnest spoke to the Wall Street Journal about the rising prices, which he attributed to the population of egg-laying chickens declining in recent years, going from 340 million in April 2019 to around 322 million in February 2022.

Though prices are rising, industry analysts do not expect there to be a shortage of eggs anytime soon. They say that retailers have bought enough eggs to last through the holidays and to weather the supply constraints.
