Terrorists declare support for anti-Israel student protesters while the Associated Press gives them nominal cover

Anti-Israel radicals across America have taken over several college campuses where they have erected pro-Hamas encampments, attacked police, made foreign policy demands, and parroted genocidal rhetoric. Their efforts to signal solidarity with the Islamic terrorists who massacred thousands of Israelis and dozens of Americans in October — the same terror organization that has since plotted attacks on Western nations — have not gone unnoticed overseas.

Two Palestinian terrorist groups announced their support this week for the student protesters, even referring to them as their own.

Endorsed by terrorists

The Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine, a Gaza-based terrorist group that combines Marxist-Leninist ideology with Arab nationalism, released a statement Tuesday condemning Israel and celebrating the students who have condemned the Jewish state's self-defense.

"At a time when all peace-lovers in the world stand by the Palestinian people in their just struggle to regain their usurped rights, the ugly face of Zionist racism is clearly visible," said the terror group, according to an online English translation tool. "While our students at American universities were looking forward to the support and solidarity of the administration of universities whose interests, profits and investments prevailed over noble human values."

The PFLP decried the "punitive measures" taken against students, alleging that professors and school administrators have threatened and blackmailed students "simply because they stand by the Palestinian people and support their just struggle for freedom and human dignity."

The PFLP extended the ACLU's November complaint against Republican Gov. Ron DeSantis and Florida education officials to other officials who have ordered the breakup of pro-terror student organizations.

According to the terrorists, those who have taken action against fellow travelers on campus operate "under the illusion that they are capable of suppressing the struggle of our students in universities in the United States."

"We ... affirm our unwavering support for the student struggle," said the terror group, singling out the George Soros-funded "Students for Justice in Palestine (SJP) and the Palestinian Youth Movement (PYM) at Columbia, Rutgers, Yale, Stanford universities, and others."

Extra to championing the student groups and underscoring their value to the terrorist cause, the PFLP gave them marching orders: "We call for strengthening the unity of students and their struggle to withdraw the investments of American universities from the Zionist entity, and to sever all forms of relations with them," emphasizing the need for the "escalation of their struggle."

Izzat Al-Rishq, reportedly a Hamas Political Bureau official, issued a statement Wednesday similarly signaling support for the student radicals on American soil, reported the New York Sun.

"The American administration, led by President Biden, violates individual rights and the right to expression, and arrests university students and faculty members because of their rejection of the genocide that our Palestinian people are subjected to in the Gaza Strip at the hands of the neo-Nazi Zionists, without the slightest sense of shame about the legal value represented by the students and university professors," said the terrorist.

Perhaps recognizing the resonance of the anti-Israeli rhetoric with elements of the Democratic Party, Hamas added, "Today's students are the leaders of the future, and their suppression today means an expensive electoral bill that the Biden administration will pay sooner or later."

Pro-Hamas radicals by any other name

Palestinian terrorists clearly understand what the student radicals mean to accomplish, but the Associated Press appears keen to pretend students' intentions are alternatively benign.

The liberal media outfit has begun referring to the pro-Hamas protests as "antiwar protests" despite their participants' genocidal slogans — such as "long live intifada" or "from the river to the sea, Palestine will be free" — and the violent verve that animates them.

This rhetorical switch aligns the publication with Progressive Democrats, such as anti-Israel Rep. Cori Bush (Mo.), who similarly refer to the pro-Hamas students as "anti-war protesters."

Natalie Sanandaji, a New Yorker who survived the Nova music festival massacre, expressed disgust this week over the Associated Press' strategic wordplay, telling "Just the News, No Noise," "When people are chanting in their protests, 'intifada now,' simply look up the definition of 'intifada' — that is not anti war."

"To downplay it is to make these people feel like what they're doing is okay," continued Sanandaji. "We need to talk about how serious it is. Downplaying it is just putting more people at risk."

"Nobody is pro-war. To call this an anti-war protest is absurd," Dan Schneider, vice president of Media Research Center's Free Speech America told Just the News. "This is not about war. This is about the extermination of Jews and the elimination of Israel as a legal state."

Human rights activist Ayaan Hirsi Ali suggested on X that it would even be deceitful to refer to the protesters as pro-Palestinian, noting, "They are not pro Palestinian. They are anti-Jewish and anti-American. They are flexing their Islamist muscles. Incompetent and weak university students who allowed this problem to get out of hand will not stop them."

Cal Poly university closes after apparently violent pro-Hamas activists barricade themselves inside campus hall

More than 50 pro-Hamas radicals have taken over a building at California State Polytechnic University in Humboldt, forcing the school to close temporarily as a safety precaution.

Around 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday, the mob of students marched into Siemens Hall, carrying sleeping bags and other provisions, clearly intending to occupy the building. According to an Instagram account called Humboldt for Palestine, the activists have reportedly made five demands: 1) for the school to acknowledge any associations with "the zionist entity," 2) for the school to "cut all ties with israeli universities," 3) to divest from Israel and "companies complicit in the occupation of Palestine," 4) to agree not to press charges or "attack" "student organizers," and 5) a ceasefire.

Ryan Connelly, a junior biology major who identified himself as a group spokesperson to North Coast Journal, summarized the group's goal much more succinctly: "Divest, and then we’ll talk."

Several law enforcement agencies were brought to campus to end the occupation of Siemens Hall, and video shows a riotous clash between officers and the foul-mouthed demonstrators.

"We are not afraid of you!" and "Get the f*** out!" the protesters chanted at various times.

Despite the efforts of police, the occupiers managed to withstand attempts to dispel them from the building. Andy Ngo reported that they resorted to "beat[ing] and assault[ing]" cops, who withdrew from the area around 10:30 p.m. on Tuesday.

Cops say they made three total arrests so far in connection with the campus occupation, though jail records confirm only that one person was arrested on suspicion of entering or occupying a building without the owner’s consent and resisting arrest, North Coast Journal reported. An independent review of the jail records indicated that the arrestee identified by NCJ is a 46-year-old woman.

Because of the chaos at the building and other "safety hazards" posed by the demonstration, the school decided to lock down campus at least through Wednesday, a press release from Cal Poly Humboldt stated. Instructors and professors who can conduct classes and other campus activities remotely will reportedly do so.

Those who "need to report to campus for work" will be contacted on an individual basis. Otherwise, all employee "key cards won't work," the press release stated.

"Significant world events and crises often hit close to home for members of our campus and local communities," the press release continued. "The University supports free speech through open dialogue that is respectful and constructive, but will not tolerate endangering people, destroying property, and disrupting campus.

"As a community, we are committed to keeping our students, staff, and faculty safe and fostering a learning and working environment where the campus community can feel safe, included, and respected."

Meanwhile, students sympathetic to the activists who have shut down their campus in the name of warring factions on the other side of the world have brought fruit, oatmeal, hot coffee, and other items to the building, likely to keep the standoff going until all occupier demands are met.

Dave Meserve, described by NCJ as a "former Arcata Councilmember and longtime local activist," likewise did not condemn the apparently violent occupation of a state-owned building. Instead, he slammed an "excessive" show of force from police. "There were at least 30 cops, maybe more, and a helicopter circling overhead," he lamented.

"It just seemed, like, way excessive, the response to what was going on."

The alleged violence at Cal Poly comes on the heels of other shows of violence by pro-Hamas activists at campuses around the country. While Cal Poly canceled in-person classes for just a day or so, Columbia University canceled in-person classes for the remainder of the semester because of a similar campus occupation from pro-Hamas groups.

Far-left activist learns unforgettable lesson after she threatens to murder entire city council: 'See you at your house'

A far-left activist went viral over the weekend after video showed her weeping in a courtroom as a judge arraigned her on more than a dozen felonies.

Last week, 28-year-old Riddhi Patel was arrested in the middle of a Bakersfield City Council meeting after she openly communicated death threats to Mayor Karen Goh (R) and the rest of the city council.

During the public comment portion of the meeting, Patel spoke twice. At first, she voiced her outrage because the city council has not supported a resolution demanding a ceasefire in Gaza.

"You all are horrible human beings, and Jesus probably would have killed you himself," she said. "While you guys parade Gandhi around ... I remind you that these holidays that we practice, that other people in the global south practice, believe in violent revolution against their oppressors, and I hope one day somebody brings the guillotine and kills all of you motherf**kers."

Later in the meeting, Patel complained about increased security measures at city council meetings, including metal detectors. After personally attacking the politicians with her words, Patel ratcheted up her rhetoric.

"We'll see you at your house. We'll murder you," she threatened.

Patel then tried to return to her seat as if everything was normal. But Mayor Goh had other plans.

"That was a threat, what you said at the end, so officers are going to escort you out and take care of that," she said.

Patel was promptly arrested and slapped with 18 felony charges: 10 counts of threatening with the intent to terrorize a public official and eight counts of threatening certain public officials.

Patel appeared in court last Friday, where she was seen wearing a brown jail uniform. As she was arraigned, Patel was weeping uncontrollably. The judge set her bail at $1 million.

Patel identifies as nonbinary, according to KPAK-TV.

Mayor Goh is not speaking about the incident, KGET-TV reported. But councilman and Vice Mayor Andrae Gonzales said Patel's threats prove why they need increased security.

"Making real threats to elected officials and decision makers is not the way to influence others," he told KGET. "Nobody on the city council will be intimidated to action."

Patel is due back in court on April 16.

Pro-Palestinian radical threatens to 'murder' Calif. city council, video shows: 'Jesus probably would've killed you himself'

A hate-filled activist in California unleashed a torrent of invectives during a recent city council meeting, threatening to "murder" the members and the mayor and insisting that "Jesus probably would've killed you himself."

Members of United Liberation Front, a group of pro-Palestinian radicals, have lately been attending the bi-weekly city council meetings in Bakersfield, California. They demand the city adopt — or at least introduce — a resolution supporting a ceasefire in Gaza, and they have often become disruptive as the council thus far has refused to cooperate.

At the meeting on Wednesday evening, one ULF member, 28-year-old Riddhi Patel, escalated the hostility between the group and the council even further when she impugned city leaders during two separate speeches.

At first, she griped about the resolution issue, claiming that the councilmembers and mayor were all "horrible human beings" who could not care less about "oppression" in Palestine or any other similarly oppressed "country," let alone "the oppression occurring" in the U.S.

Patel also pointed to those around the globe who support "violent revolution against their oppressors." "I hope one day somebody brings a guillotine and kills all of you motherf***ers," she spat as she walked away from the podium the first time.

At some point, a then-bespectacled Patel returned to the podium and wailed on the council and mayor for installing metal detectors near the entrance to City Hall. She claimed the metal detectors served no purpose other than to "criminalize" those attempting to hold leaders "accountable." She also accused officials of escalating the violence and sometimes even of letting their constituents "die."

"You guys want to criminalize us with metal detectors? We'll see you at your house," she said in closing.

"We'll murder you."

Patel then attempted to return to her seat, and the person entrusted with managing the meeting appeared to ignore Patel's violent comments and awkwardly tried to carry on as though nothing had happened. However, Mayor Karen Goh interrupted the proceedings, claiming Patel had made a "threat" and asking officers to "escort" her out accordingly.

Patel was not only made to leave the premises. She was arrested and charged with 16 felonies: eight counts of threatening with intent to terrorize and eight counts of threatening elected public officials. She remains in custody on a bond of at least $1 million.

Some of her ULF comrades have already tried to distance themselves from her. Maria Quinonez, who also attended the meeting on Wednesday, described Patel's comments as "shocking" and insisted they "in no way represent those of us who continue to come to city council to demand a ceasefire and an end to the genocide [in Gaza]."

The City of Bakersfield declined KERO's request for comment since "the matter is under investigation."

UN Relief chief makes startling claim about what his organization really thinks about Hamas

A top U.N. official prompted outrage this week with the suggestion that Hamas is not a terrorist organization — once again bolstering critics' suspicions that the U.N. has a soft spot or, at the very least, a blind spot for terrorists.

Martin Griffiths, a British diplomat who formerly served as the U.N. special envoy for Yemen and now serves both as U.N. under-secretary-general for humanitarian affairs and as emergency relief coordinator, appeared Wednesday on Sky News to discuss humanitarian concerns in Gaza and Israel's war on terrorism.

After telling Sky News' Yalda Hakim that the situation in Gaza amounts to the worst humanitarian crisis he has observed in his 50-year career — apparently worse than the genocide of up to 3 million people by the Red Khmers in Cambodia or the civil war in Syria that claimed roughly 600,000 lives — the bureaucrat suggested an Israeli ground operation in Rafah, where Israeli captives were recently liberated, would be ruinous.

Hakim asked Griffiths, "In terms of Israel's plan to eliminate Hamas and have them never be part of any future negotiation when it comes to Gaza, do you think that's realistic?"

"I think it's very difficult," answered the U.N. official. "As you've said, I've worked with many, many different terrorist and insurgent groups. Hamas is not a terrorist group for us, as you know. It's a political movement."

— (@)

While the collective to which Griffiths belongs may not regard Hamas as a terrorist group, much of the civilized world does.

Hamas is an acronym for Harakat al-Muqawama al-Islamiya, meaning "Islamic Resistance Movement." According to the Office of the Director of National Intelligence, the bloodthirsty Islamist group "is committed to armed resistance against Israel and the creation of an Islamic Palestinian state in Israel's place."

Hamas' revised and slightly toned-down 2017 charter indicates it seeks Israel's annihilation and intends to make Jerusalem the capital of an alternate Islamic state.

"Not one stone of Jerusalem can be surrendered or relinquished," says the terrorist charter. "The measures undertaken by the occupiers in Jerusalem, such as Judaisation, settlement building, and establishing facts on the ground are fundamentally null and void."

The charter adds, "Resistance and jihad for the liberation of Palestine will remain a legitimate right, a duty and an honour for all the sons and daughters of our people and our Ummah. ... Resisting the occupation with all means and methods is a legitimate right guaranteed by divine laws and by international norms and laws. At the heart of these lies armed resistance, which is regarded as the strategic choice."

Hamas is responsible for countless attacks on civilians and Israeli soldiers as well as to terror plots around the world, including in Germany and Denmark. In October 2023, Hamas terrorists butchered thousands of Israeli citizens along with dozens of American citizens. The group also took hundreds of hostages.

The United States, the U.N.'s largest donor, has recognized Hamas as a terrorist organization three times.

Matthew Levitt, a specialist on Hamas at the Washington Institute of Near East Policy, told Voice of America the first designation "predates the current terrorism lists and came in the process of the peace process under the Clinton administration in 1995."

The U.S. formally recognized Hamas as a foreign terrorist organization on Oct. 8, 1997, roughly 10 years after the group was established. When the Bush administration created a special global terrorism list after the 9/11 attacks on the homeland, the U.S. designated the Hamas a terror group once more.

"The simple, most basic definition is targeting civilians for the purpose of effecting social or political change," said Levitt. "Personally, I simplify it a little bit more: It's about the tactic. Terrorism is a tactic and if you engage in this tactic of targeting civilians for the purpose of effecting social and political change then that act is an act of terrorism."

The United Kingdom, Israel, Australia, Argentina, Canada, and Japan are among the other relatively civilized nations that have designated Hamas a terrorist group.

Despite an attempt in 2014 by a top court to annul the bloc's decision, the European Union has nevertheless maintained that Hamas, including Hamas-Izz al-Din al-Qassem, is a terrorist organization.

Griffiths, who does not regard Hamas to be a terrorist organization, told Hakim, "I think it's very difficult to dislodge these groups without a negotiated solution, which includes their aspirations. I cannot think of an example offhand of a place where a victory through warfare has succeeded against a well-entrenched group."

Despite having trouble imagining a Gaza free of influence of Hamas terrorists, Griffiths indicated he could appreciate why it might be difficult for Israelis not to pursue the terrorist group's eradication.

"I've seen the horrors of what happened to Israelis [on Oct. 7.] I have met hostage families. I have total understanding, I believe, of the trauma that that's caused," said Griffith. "But I would add that if you want to have safety and security with people who are going to inevitably continue to be your neighbor in some form or another, you're going to have to create a relationship based on some shared values."

The watchdog group StopAntisemitism responded to Griffiths' suggestion that Hamas is not a terrorism group, writing, "We have no words."

Following this and other critics of his comments, Griffiths wrote on X, "Just to clarify: Hamas is not on the list of groups designated as terrorist organizations by the United Nations Security Council. This doesn't make their acts of terror on 7 October any less horrific and reprehensible, as I've been saying all along."

The official X account for the State of Israel responded to the suppose clarification, "Just to clarify: @UNReliefChief you're a Hamas apologist and your statements are an insult to every single victim of October 7th. Pathetic."

Just to clarify: @UNReliefChief you\u2019re a Hamas apologist and your statements are an insult to every single victim of\nOctober 7th. \n\nPathetic.
— (@)

Israel War Room responded, "Can you clarify *why* Hamas isn't on the UN's list of designated terror organizations? because we can't think of one good reason."

The German Foreign Office rushed to reiterate that the EU "has listed Hamas as a terrorist organization and so have many others."

Karoline Edtstadler, an Austrian federal minister for the EU, also noted, "The EU has listed Hamas as a terrorist organisation for more than 20 years. We always saw Hamas for what it was. No excuses for those who turned a blind eye before 7 October."

The U.N. not only fails to recognize Hamas as terrorists; it apparently works hand-in-glove with the group.

The United Nations Relief and Works Agency was recently exposed for its alleged infiltration by Hamas. The New York Times reported that Israeli military officials have provided U.S. officials with a dossier indicating roughly 10% of the UNRWA's employees are members of Hamas.

Josh Hawley coolly handles raving Code Pink radicals and calls out their support for terrorism

Sen. Josh Hawley was mobbed this week by members of the leftist group Code Pink — so-called feminists evidently rankled by the Missouri Republican's ongoing support for Israel. Hawley responded with an unflinching condemnation of terrorism that not only drove the radicals raving mad but prompted them to show their cards.

The incident unfolded Wednesday afternoon in the Senate Hart building — the same building where Maryland Democratic Sen. Ben Cardin's former staffer filmed himself engaging in sodomy without legal consequence.

A rabble of Code Pink leftists protesting Israel's war on Islamic terrorism were camped out in the hall, yelling at various lawmakers as they made their way over to vote on potential aid for Israel, Ukraine, and Taiwan. When came Hawley's turn down the hall, a woman wearing a Palestinian keffiyeh snapped her fingers in Hawley's face, saying, "Don't give us your talking points."

In one video of the incident, another protester can be seen attempting to lower the snapping hand of the woman in the keffiyeh. However, she proceeds to wag a finger at Hawley, saying, "You are unbelievable."

Hawley responds, "The state of Israel has a right to defend itself."

One Code Pink protester, ostensibly the group's co-founder Medea Benjamin, chimes in, "So does Palestine!"

The woman in the Palestinian scarf counters that Israel's self-defense is "not defense."

"And I won't call for a ceasefire until Hamas is eliminated," continues Hawley.

The senator's invocation of the terrorist group prickles the woman in the keffiyeh, who leans over with widened eyes to say, "Hamas will never be eliminated."

"Eliminated!" Hawley adds.

As the protester feverishly yells out after Hawley, calling him "foolish," Hawley sets her straight: "You're an anti-Semite. ... If you guys had your way, there'd be a second Holocaust. That's what you want. Pro-terrorist."

— (@)

In another video of the exchange, Hawley can be heard saying to the Code Pink protesters, "I wish I had an Israel flag to wave."

Code Pink has long campaigned against Israel and supported so-called Palestinian liberation. The so-called feminist group appears keen to overlook the barbaric treatment of women, girls, and non-straights in Gaza and the West Bank, just as it has glossed over the crimes committed against humanity by the communist regime in Beijing — which Code Pink stresses "is not our enemy."

Code Pink has made explicit its support for Palestinian violence against Israel and refers to the Oct. 7 terror attacks, which left thousands of Israelis and dozens of Americans dead and thousands more wounded, as "resistance."

The group states on its website that the Hamas terror attacks "must be understood in the context of resistance to a 75-year Israeli occupation, in which a Jewish state was violently established on stolen Palestinian land."

According to Code Pink, "Israel cannot 'defend' itself.

"Israel's use of violence only enforces an oppressive occupation. Conversely, Palestinians resisting their oppression act defensively, as they have been victims of offensive attacks by Israel since its illegitimate inception in 1948," says the group's website.

In recent weeks, Code Pink has called on the Biden administration to restore funding to the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees despite clear indications that 12 UNWRA employees participated in the October attacks.

Hawley is apparently not the only senator the pro-terrorism group heckled this week. They also mobbed Sens. Marco Rubio (R-Fla.), Ted Cruz (R-Texas), John Fetterman (D-Pa.), John Kennedy (R-La.), and others.

Cruz and Rubio responded especially forcefully.

Cruz said, "So why are you not troubled with Hamas terrorists? ... Killing Hamas makes Israel safe."

When the Code Pink protesters pressed Rubio on the deaths of children in Gaza, the Florida senator replied, "Hamas is responsible for killing all those children. ... Hamas kills children. Hamas is an evil organization. I hope Israel destroys Hamas. That's what I hope and I wanna help Israel destroy Hamas."

Mayor Who Can’t Get a Ceasefire In Own City Calls For One Between Israel And Hamas

'We’re looking at 25,000 Palestinians that have been killed'
