Video: Climate change activist lights himself on fire at Laver Cup ahead of final match of tennis legend Roger Federer's illustrious career

A climate change activist disrupted the 2022 Laver Cup by lighting himself on fire only hours before tennis legend Roger Federer was set to compete in the final match of his illustrious career.

A climate change activist set himself on fire during the Laver Cup. The disturbing disruption occurred in the middle of the match between Stefanos Tsitsipas and Diego Schwartzman at the O2 Arena in London, England.

The climate change activist was wearing a white shirt that said: "End UK private jets."

He managed to get on the tennis court, sat on the ground, and lit his right arm on fire with a lighter. There was also a small flame on the tennis court.

The protester was quickly removed from the court by security guards who also put out the blaze.

The publicity stunt delayed the start of the second set between Tsitsipas and Schwartzman.

Sports journalist Sam Street shared a video of the self-immolating man.

The Laver Cup released a statement on the incident, "A man accessed the court this afternoon and was promptly removed by security. Play was stopped briefly, he has been arrested and the situation is being handled by the police."

Tsitsipas – the runner-up at the 2021 French Open – told reporters after the fiery incident, "It came out of nowhere ... I never had an incident like this happen on court. I hope he's all right."

Tsitsipas would go on to a 6-2, 6-1 victory – providing Team Europe with a 2-0 lead over Team World.

The climate change activist's self-immolation happened only hours before the heavily-anticipated final match of tennis legend Roger Federer.

Federer – who has captured 20 Grand Slam men's singles titles – is scheduled to compete in his final match of his legendary career in a doubles match with longtime rival Rafael Nadal against American tennis players Jack Sock and Frances Tiafoe.

In June, a 22-year-old climate change activist named "Alizée" chained her neck to the tennis net and attempted to glue herself to the clay court at the Stade Roland Garros in Paris, France. The environmental activist was wearing a doomsday climate shirt that read: "We have 1028 days left."

The woman's shirt promoted the French climate change alarmist organization Dernière Rénovation – which claims, "We are the last generation capable of preventing a climate collapse."

'We won't see an Oct. 14 commission, will we?' - Chad Prather TORCHES Left-wing hypocrites

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi spent an excessive amount of time throughout 2021 on her crusade to convince the American public that the events that erupted on Jan. 6 at the Capitol building in Washington, D.C., was an insurrection.

In the months that followed, Pelosi formed a Jan. 6 commission to investigate the incident. The investigation led to the arrest of more than 600 American protesters, many of whom have since reported being held in solitary confinement while they awaited trial.

Now fast forward to Oct. 14. It was a Thursday and the fourth day of protests as a part of People vs. Fossil Fuels action in the nation's capital. Demonstrators demanded that President Joe Biden stop approving fossil fuel projects and declare a national climate emergency.

According to reports, "Climate activists with the group rallied outside the U.S. Chamber of Commerce on Thursday, with some climbing onto a ledge to release smoke flares. Others used retrofitted fire extinguishers to spray fake oil on the building."

In this clip, Chad Prather, host of "The Chad Prather Show," was fired up over the hypocrisy that was on full display as Pelosi, the media, and the rest of the Democratic Party seemed unaffected by the following events:

The Washington Post reported:

"Police and climate activists clashed Thursday during protests at the Interior Department, with security personnel sustaining "multiple injuries" and one officer being taken to a hospital, agency spokeswoman Melissa Schwartz said.
Climate demonstrators were attempting to occupy the Interior Department, with dozens entering the Stewart Lee Udall Main Interior Building on C Street NW. Those who remained outside clashed with police as they tried to keep the one unlocked door open. At times, protesters attempted to push past the police line.
The protesters were here for People vs. Fossil Fuels, five days of demonstrations by a coalition of groups known as Build Back Fossil Free that has included Indigenous leaders from across the country. The coalition's name is a nod to President Biden's "Build Back Better" agenda.
People vs. Fossil Fuels said in a statement that 55 people were arrested during the protest, including Indigenous leaders, and said police "acted aggressively" by using Tasers on at least two people and batons to hit others. A spokesperson for the Federal Protective Service, which Schwartz said responded to the protest to "mitigate the situation," did not immediately respond to a request for comment on police tactics and arrests.
Protesters said they wanted to speak with Interior Secretary Deb Haaland, the first Native American to hold the position. Haaland was traveling outside Washington at the time, Schwartz said in a statement.
"Interior Department leadership believes strongly in respecting and upholding the right to free speech and peaceful protest," Schwartz said in a statement. "It is also our obligation to keep everyone safe. We will continue to do everything we can to de-escalate the situation while honoring first amendment rights."

Chad predicted that left-wing politicians and the mainstream media would continue their silence on the issue despite the similarities to the Jan, 6 "insurrection".

"We won't hear about an Oct.14 commission, will we? These people will not be locked away in solitary confinement, will they?" Chad asked rhetorically. "Hypocrites!"
