Libs of TikTok savors victory after Fetterman pulls support for LGBT center over monthly fetish parties

Lawmakers routinely cram various earmarks into spending bills to have their allied causes and pet initiatives showered in taxpayer money. Democratic Sens. John Fetterman and Bob Casey are no different.

The Pennsylvania senators supported an earmark for the William Way LGBT Community Center in Philadelphia. Specifically, they sought to flush the non-straight activist center with $1 million so it could "renovate and expand the existing LGBT Community Center into an inclusive, fully accessible, and welcoming space for all individuals to gather, learn, and find life-giving support."

The duo ultimately had to backtrack on their request Tuesday after Libs of TikTok revealed in a viral post that the recipient was a facility that hosts monthly fetish parties.

Dungeons and Democrats

The Senate Appropriations Committee voted Wednesday on a $97 billion housing and transportation government funding bill, which is supposedly aimed at strengthening air and rail safety, boosting resources to reduce homelessness, and sustaining key infrastructure.

The day before the vote, Libs of TikTok noted in an X post that the bill "includes $1M of your tax dollars to go towards renovating an LGBTQ Center in Pa which boasts rooms to try BDSM and s*x f*etishes and hosts BDSM and s*x k*nk parties. There's even a k*nk party happening there this weekend!"

The account, run by Chaya Raichik, further highlighted that Casey and Fetterman were the senators who requested the earmark.

Philadelphia Weekly noted in a 2023 report entitled, "Rope bondage, electro-stimulation, dungeons. A taste of what's behind the doors of Philly sex parties," that the William Way center was home to a monthly BDSM event called the Aviary where attendees "may show up wearing street clothes, high-end fetish wear or 'almost nothing at all.'"

A January 2023 event listing described the Aviary at the William Way center as "Philadelphia's friendliest and longest running kink and fetish party. Come find your next unexpected kink!"

The Aviary's next debauchery is scheduled for March 9 at the center.

According to an archived version of the event's now blacked-out website, the Aviary's "rules of play" include the following:

  • "The Dungeon Monitors' (DM) word is final";
  • "You must get permission from a DM to play with fire or puncture the skin";
  • "Bodily fluids (blood, saliva, etc.) may not leave the body. If they do, they must be cleaned immediately";
  • "Genitals and anuses must remain covered in non-play areas."

House Republicans pushed last year to slash federal funding to the William Way Community Center for reasons beyond the center's fetish parties.

Republican Montana Rep. Ryan Zinke noted the center had hosted a rally against the group Moms for Liberty, with an appearance by "Mr. Philly drag king himself" and giveaways for so-called "banned" books, reported the Philadelphia Inquirer.

"An appropriation also should be appropriate," stressed Rep. Zinke.

Fetterman gets spanked

Both Casey and Fetterman penned March 5 letters to Senate Appropriations Committee Chair Brian Schatz (D-Hawaii) and Ranking Member Cindy Hyde-Smith (R-Miss.) withdrawing their support for the William Way Renovation and Expansion Project.

The Hill reported that the Senate removed the project the same day.

The William Way LGBT Community Center noted that it was "disappointed to learn that support for federal Congressionally Directed Spending to renovate and expand our historic headquarters on 1315 Street in Philadelphia was withdrawn as a result of lies and distortions about our Center shared by political extremists."

Despite the many archived photographs on the Aviary website, the center further stated, "These extremists falsely stated that sexual behavior is allowed in rental programs of the Center, which is inaccurate and against our Center's code of conduct."

Casey told The Hill he withdrew his support because of "new information."

Fetterman intimated social media posts played a role in prompting the withdrawal but told Business Insider that he was not part of the decision to rescind support for the earmark.

"I wasn't part of that letter. I know that seems strange, but I wasn't a part of that," said the senator.

Facing criticism on the left for backing down, Fetterman said in statement on X Wednesday, "At the 11th hour my staff was made aware that funding for William Way, which was in the bill because I championed it, would not pass in the FY24 appropriations process." He continued, "The choice was either to pull it or watch it get stripped out, attacked by Republicans and ultimately killed."

"I am going to fight for William Way to secure their funding in the FY25 appropriations process," added Fetterman. "I'm new here, but I wasn't aware that Democratic values and priorities are dictated by Libs of TikTok."

Libs of TikTok mocked Fetterman's statement, writing, "'I'm new here, but I wasn't aware that Democratic values and priorities are dictated by Libs of TikTok.' Fetterman is losing his mind cuz we exposed him for wanting to use your tax dollars to fund BDSM s*x k*ink F*tish parties!"

Raichik went on to cite the earmark withdrawal as an example of her "tremendous impact."

Biden DOJ sues Tennessee over law penalizing prostitutes who knowingly expose others to HIV — claims it's discriminatory

HIV is an incurable auto-immune disease that afflicts roughly 1.2 million Americans, predominantly non-straight men. The Biden Department of Justice wants to eliminate a law in Tennessee that might spare countless more Americans from contracting it.

A year after suing Tennessee over its ban on child sex-changes, the Biden DOJ has sued the state again, this time in hopes of killing a state law that makes prostitution a Class C felony if a person knowingly infected with HIV engages "in sexual activity as a business or is an inmate in a house of prostitution."

The law was reportedly reclassified as a "violent sexual offense" in 2010 due to the grievous, lasting physical harm it can result in. As a result, those so convicted are required to register as sex offenders.

According to the complaint filed Thursday in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Tennessee, Tennessee and the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation "unlawfully discriminate against individuals with human immunodeficiency virus (HIV), a disability, in their maintenance and enforcement of Tennessee's aggravated prostitution statute."

The lawsuit downplays the risks associated with HIV — a lifelong disease for which antiretroviral therapeutics cost potential sufferers anywhere from $1,800 to $4,500 every month — and takes issue with the requirement that persons convicted of aggravated prostitution must register as sex offenders. After all, this can impact convicts' employment potential and precludes convicts from hanging out alone with children in secluded areas.

The lawsuit cites a nameless black transvestite as a complainant "aggrieved" by the law. He was arrested in 2010 for prostitution "near a church or school" and pleaded guilty to one count of aggravated prostitution, having engaged in sex for money despite knowing he had HIV since 2008.

The transvestite alleges that as a result of the law — contra his conscious decision to sell sex while infected with a debilitating disease — he now has trouble finding employment because of his sex offender listing in the TBI's registry; is precluded from spending time alone with his nephew; and cannot change his name to "match [his] gender identity."

The DOJ claims that the TBI and the State of Tennessee are violating the Americans with Disabilities Act by continuing to enforce the statute.

The aim of the lawsuit is to nullify the law; to remove all relevant convicts from the TBI's sex offender registry; and to shake the state up for damages for "Complainant A and other aggrieved individuals with aggravated prostitution convictions."

"The enforcement of state criminal laws that treat people differently based on HIV status alone and that are not based on actual risks of harm, discriminate against people living with HIV," said Assistant Attorney General Kristen Clarke of the DOJ's so-called Civil Rights Division. "People living with HIV should not be subjected to a different system of justice based on outdated science and misguided assumptions. This lawsuit reflects the Justice Department’s commitment to ensuring that people living with HIV are not targeted because of their disability."

Brandon James Smith, Tennessee Attorney General Jonathan Skrmetti's chief of staff, said in a statement obtained by the Associated Press, "We are aware of the DOJ's findings, will give them appropriate consideration, and look forward to finding out more about DOJ's apparent cooperation with local activist organizations and private litigants related to this matter."

Rep. Mark Green (R-Tenn.) suggested the DOJ's lawsuit was evidence that "the fight is not in Washington. The fight is with Washington."

The ACLU and the Transgender Law Center beat the Biden DOJ to the punch on attempting to decriminalize prostitutes' intentional exposure of unsuspecting strangers to HIV. The Hill reported that the radical groups filed the challenge in the U.S. District in Memphis on behalf of four plaintiffs and OUTMemphis in October 2023.

The complaint indicated that there were just over 80 potential super spreaders registered for aggravated prostitution in the state.

Rather than comply with age verification law, Pornhub restricts access to Virginians

Smut giant Pornhub has blocked access to users in Virginia rather than comply with a new law designed to preclude children from accessing the graphic and often brutal sexual content on its site.

In a notification to prospective users Thursday, the company claimed the legal requirement — effective July 1 — that users provide proof of their age "is not the most effective solution for protecting our users, and in fact, will put children and your privacy at risk," reported WRIC-TV.

"The safety of our users is one of our biggest concerns. We believe that the best and most effective solution for protecting children and adults alike is to identify users by their device and allow access to age-restricted materials and websites based on that identification," wrote Pornhub. "Until a real solution is offered, we have made the difficult decision to completely disable access to our website in Virginia."

The smut company told users in Utah virtually the same thing last month after state Republicans took similar steps to spare American children from the content peddled by the European-based, Canada-centered company, which sees over 2 billion users every month.

Republican Gov. Glenn Youngkin's office released a statement, saying, "The governor remains committed to protecting Virginia’s children from dangerous material on the internet."

State Sen. William Stanley introduced SB 1515, stating, "If we're going to sit here and just say, ‘Well, there's nothing we can do about it. It's the, you know, darn old internet,’ then we're abrogating our responsibility to our children," reported VPM News.

The law states that "Any commercial entity that knowingly or intentionally publishes or distributes material harmful to minors on the Internet from a website that contains a substantial portion of such material shall ... verify that any person attempting to access such material harmful to minors is 18 years or older."

A commercial entity that enables children to access harmful pornographic material is subject under the law to civil liability for damages.

Youngkin ratified the legislation in May.

While Pornhub cited the need to protect users in its rationale for discontinuing service to Virginia, it was accused further afield this week of illegally collecting data from millions of users.

Wired reported that a complaint, "based on a technical analysis of the website and its privacy practices," was filed in Italy Thursday claiming the site is "dealing with the sexual preferences of users" without asking for consent and likely violating European law.

A 2019 study found that 93% of porn sites sent user data to an average of seven third-party domains, reported the New York Times.

"This isn’t picking out a sweater and seeing it follow you across the web. This is so much more specific and deeply personal," Elena Maris, the study's lead author.

In Pornhub's message to users in Virginia, the company also references the desire to protect children from risk, yet the company has been accused on multiple occasions in recent years of hosting explicit videos of minors, allegedly uploaded without their consent, as reported by the New York Post.

In 2021, the company even settled a lawsuit brought by 50 women who alleged it had profited from pornographic videos published without their consent, according to Canadian state media.

The Free Speech Coalition, a trade association for American smut dealers, indicated it might challenge the Virginia law in court, as it has in both Louisiana and Utah.

"It’s not a matter of if these laws will be ruled unconstitutional but when," a spokesman for the group told WRIC.

Concerning a possible legal challenge, Stanley said, "I think the compelling state interest is the protection of our children. ... And I would rather try and have a supreme court tell me I was wrong then not to try at all."

Pornography has been shown to have a devastating impact on the minds of children and adults alike.

An Israeli study published this month in the scientific journal Body Image indicated a link between pornography consumption and negative body image and ultimately increased severity of eating disorder symptoms.

A February 2022 study published in the journal Psychological Medicine found that porn is "associated with the erosion of the quality of men's sex lives" — "associated with lower levels of sexual self-competence, impaired sexual functioning, and decreased partner-reported sexual satisfaction."

The Australian government found that pornography consumption by young people has served "normalise sexual violence and contribute to unrealistic understandings of sex and sexuality."

A 2014 study revealed that watching porn actually could shrink a part of the brain linked to pleasure.

Hunter Biden deducted prostitutes and sex club from his taxes, possibly violated sex-trafficking laws, says IRS whistleblower

Hunter Biden, whom President Joe Biden claimed is the "smartest guy" he knows, deducted tens of thousands of dollars in payments he made to prostitutes and a sex club from his taxes, according to Internal Revenue Service whistleblower testimony released Thursday by the House Ways and Means Committee.

Committee Chairman Jason Smith (R-Mo.) indicated in a press conference Thursday that two IRS whistleblowers have provided evidence of "misconduct and government abuse that is resulting in preferential treatment for the president's son, Hunter Biden."

Extra to describing alleged efforts by the Biden administration to intervene in and hinder the criminal investigation into Hunter Biden, the whistleblowers further highlighted some of the first son's apparent improprieties — beyond those acknowledged in the sweetheart deal his attorneys struck with U.S. Attorney David Weiss Tuesday, requiring him only to "plead guilty to two misdemeanor tax charges of failure to pay in 2017 and 2018."

The second, unnamed IRS whistleblower detailed in a June 1 interview how the Democratic president's son allegedly attempted to get tax breaks for his debauched behavior.

"Some of the items that he deducted were personal no-show employees. He deducted payments that were made to who he called his West Coast assistant, but she was essentially a prostitute," testified the whistleblower, who indicated he had begun investigating Biden "in November of 2018 after reviewing bank reports related to another case. ... Those bank reports identified Hunter Biden as paying prostitutes related to a potential prostitution ring."

The 2018 investigation was apparently an offshoot of an IRS probe into a "foreign-based amateur online pornography platform."

"He made payments — there's an $18,000 wire that is made to one of these individuals, and on the wires they say $8,000 in wage and $10,000 in golf — $10K golf club member deposit," said the whistleblower. "And we know that $10,000 went to pay for a sex club. He went to a sex club, and we've talked to the person that owned that sex club, and they confirmed that he was there."

Shapley, the other whistleblower, also noted in his testimony that in 2018, there "was a $25,000 [payment] to one of his girlfriends and it said, 'golf membership.' And then we went out and followed that money it was for a sex club membership in L.A."

Damon Lawner, the founder of the elite Beverly Hills sex club Snctm, wrote in a now-deleted Instagram post this week that Biden had once been a member.

"Hunter was a member at Snctm and I canceled his membership after 1 party because he's a scumbag," wrote Lawner.

Lawner, banned from the club shortly after making this admission, told the Los Angeles Times, "Posting what I did on my Instagram about Hunter was me letting people know that the type of behavior that he exhibited was something that upsets me. ... I knew that the consequences could be me not being part of Snctm anymore, but I was willing to take that risk."

The former club owner told the New York Post that Biden had been kicked out for "grabbing women's asses" and acting "like a spoiled child," adding, Hunter Biden is "a really bad guy — not a good person. He’s just not."

When asked about Lawner's ban, a spokesman for the club told the Times, "As stated, we neither confirm nor deny the identities of past or present attendees. We uphold a strict code of conduct to protect our members' safety and privacy, and any infringement leads to a lifetime ban."

Biden's $10,000 payment to the club ultimately led to Lawner receiving an IRS subpoena, reported the Post.

Concerning the first son's various alleged prostitutes, the IRS whistleblower said, "In some situations, they were on payroll, and that was to get them health insurance."

"There were expenditures for one of — he called it his West Coast assistant, but we knew her to also be in the prostitution world or believed to be in the prostitution world. And he deducted expenses related to her. She relates to the sex club issue. And then there were — and I know that my counsel brought this up earlier. There were some flying people across state lines, paying for their travel, paying for their hotels. They were what we call Mann Act violations," added the whistleblower.

The Mann Act, also known as the "White-Slave Traffic Act of 1910," is a sex-trafficking law that criminalizes the transportation of "any woman or girl for the purpose of prostitution or debauchery, or for any other immoral purpose."

Shapley said, "There were multiple examples of prostitutes that were ordered basically, and we have all the communications between that where he would pay for these prostitutes, would book them a flight where even the flight ticket showed their name. And then he expensed those."

Shapley suggested that Biden had expensed these contractual dalliances to Owasco P.C., an entity incorporated in 2006 for which he was the director.

Leftists enraged that kids cannot attend furry convention due to law ratified by DeSantis

Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis has repeatedly indicated that Florida is where "woke goes to die." Having ensured that is the case, in part, by ratifying the Protection of Children Act, SB 1438, he has given leftists in the state another strange cause to mourn.

Megaplex is a "Furry/Anthropomorphic Arts Convention" in Orlando, Florida, that will be held in September at the Hyatt Regency Orlando. It is ostensibly a mecca both for perverts who sexualize cartoon animals and for the socially-stunted who enjoy dressing up in animal costumes.

Organizers for the annual event noted on May 24 that as a result of SB 1438, "it has been decided that for legal reasons and protection of our attendees, our venue, and the overall convention, Megaplex attendees must be 18 years of age at the time of registration pickup."

SB 1438, introduced by Republican state Sens. Clay Yarborough and Keith Perry, prohibits "a person from knowingly admitting a child to an adult live performance."

Furthermore, it prohibits a governmental entity from issuing a permit or otherwise authorizing a person to conduct an adult performance in front of minors.

"Adult live performance" is defined in the legislation as "any show, exhibition, or other presentation in front of a live audience which, in whole or in part, depicts or simulates nudity, sexual conduct, sexual excitement, or specific sexual activities ... lewd conduct, or the lewd exposure of prosthetic or imitation genitals or breasts."

DeSantis ratified the act on May 17. One week later, Megaplex indicated that its days of possibly exposing children to adult performances might be over.

While Orlando Weekly and other publications claim that it is a common misconception that "furries are a sexualized subculture," Vox indicated that a survey conducted at a similar furry convention revealed that nearly all of the male respondents and over 78% of female respondents admitted to viewing furry pornography.

A 2019 study published in the journal "Archives of Sexual Behavior" indicated that male furries "tended to report a pattern of sexual interests ... involving anthropomorphic animals. Both sexual attraction to anthropomorphic animals and sexual arousal by fantasizing about being anthropomorphic animals were nearly universal."

Fresh off advancing false allegations about a Florida school, Rolling Stone denounced DeSantis for having a hand in preventing dehumanized convention-goers from rubbing shoulders with children while incognito.

E.J. Dickson, a self-professed "Disney adult" who occasionally writes about porn for the magazine, suggested that "DeSantis has successfully sucked the pleasure out of many of life's little joys," adding that his ratification of a bill protecting children from deviant displays is no exception.

Unlike Orlando Weekly, Dickson was willing to admit that "there is a segment of furrydom that does treat it as a kink" and that furry conventions boast adult content but "typically save such programming for later at night ... or cordon off adult vendors so they are not in full view of other attendees."

Having acknowledged that there is adult content, adult intent, and adult merchandise, Dickson leapt to the conclusion that barring children from such an environment amounted to an assault on the LGBT agenda.

"The fact that the furry organizers felt pressured to bar children from the convention is yet another example of how it’s been seen as an attack on LGBTQ rights," wrote Dickson, adding that nearly 80% of furries identify as not-straight.

After stressing both that the event is not "inherently sexual" then highlighting the sexual preference of the super-majority of attendees, Dickson claimed that "many furries are marginalized in some way."

While Pink News indicated "there is an overlap between the LGBTQ+ community and the furry fandom," the LGBT activists' flag still has yet to include a stripe accounting for the marginalized furries who will have to convene in September without children present.
