Riley Gaines Isn’t Backing Down After ‘Predictable’ Opposition At UC Davis
'I think the outrage comes from a place where they know my argument can't be disputed because it's what I lived,' Gaines told The Federalist.
Virginia Gov. Glenn Youngkin (R) announced Monday that he will no longer use Eventbrite after the company removed an event listing for women's rights advocate Riley Gaines.
Gaines will visit the University of California-Davis next week to speak on the important issue of "protecting women's sports." Innocent enough, right? Wrong.
Eventbrite — the live-event management company the host used to sell tickets for the event — removed the listing last week on grounds that the event violated the company's terms of service.
"Specifically, we do not allow content or events that — through on- or off-platform activity — discriminate against, harass, disparage, threaten, incite violence against, or otherwise target individuals or groups based on their actual or perceived race, ethnicity, religion, national origin, immigration status, gender identity, sexual orientation, veteran status, age, or disability," the company said in a notice.

The Virginia governor is boycotting Eventbrite, according to a notice, because of its decision to "kick Riley Gaines off their website while continuing to list pro-Hamas events."
"The fact that, first of all, Eventbrite continues to carry events around Hamas is unbelievable. But then, on top of that, to proactively terminate an agreement with Riley is beyond belief," Youngkin explained on Monday. "And to say that they are trying to protect some group and not the other, I think, results in the kind of action that I've taken.
"As governor, I've told our political committee that we will no longer use Eventbrite and the governor's office is no longer using Eventbrite," he continued. "And I would ask your listeners: Do not respond or RSVP to an invitation from Eventbrite. Just stop using them."

Eventbrite later deleted the listings for events that were allegedly "pro-Hamas," OutKick reported.
While Eventbrite has not publicly spoken about the controversy involving Gaines, Kevin Hartz, chairman of Eventbrite's board of directors, dismissed the criticism.
"I am the Co-Founder and Chairman of Eventbrite and to accuse Eventbrite of being Pro-Hamas is egregious and moronic," he said. "How could you make an unsubstantiated slander that I support these genocidal maniacs? Please go f*** yourself! (The last comment represents the individual views of Kevin and not that of Eventbrite, etc, etc)."

Eventbrite has reportedly put the kibosh on a post about an event meant to advocate for women's rights, which are under attack due to the radical leftist gender ideology movement.
"We're reaching out regarding your event listing, 'Let Women Speak Austin,'" Eventbrite Trust and Safety wrote, according to a screenshot of the message shared on social media by Michelle Evans. "We have determined that your event is not permitted on the Eventbrite platform as it violates our Community Guidelines and Terms of Service, specifically our policy on Hateful, Dangerous, or Violent Content and Events. As a result, your event has been unpublished."
When sharing the screenshot, Evans wrote, "Attention @eventbrite - being a woman is not a hate crime."

"What is hateful about sex-based rights, @eventbritehelp? Do you not believe women deserve rights, safety, dignity and protection?" she wrote in another tweet.
A tweet pinned to the top of Evans' Twitter page includes an Eventbrite link which currently directs to a notice that states, "This event is currently unavailable."
An event description in her tweet indicates that the event will involve "Women speaking out about the harms of gender ideology, the erasure of women, the mutiliation of healthy bodies, and the protection of our sex-based rights."

Eventbrite bills itself as a platform "that allows anyone to create, share, find and attend events that fuel their passions," but the company has a history of removing posts for events that challenge radical leftist gender ideology. It has previously nixed posts for events related to conservative commentator Matt Walsh's "What Is a Woman?" documentary.

The platform Eventbrite has once again exhibited its allegiance to the LGBT agenda by removing a listing that advertised a screening of conservative commentator Matt Walsh's "What Is a Woman?" documentary, a work that exposes the absurdity of radical leftist gender ideology.
Conservative Partnership Institute policy director Rachel Bovard tweeted about Eventbrite's move, and posted a screenshot of the company's email.
"We're reaching out regarding your event listing, 'CPI 'What Is A Woman?' Movie Screening,'" Eventbrite noted in the email. "We do not permit events, content, or creators that promote or encourage hate, violence, or harassment towards others and/or oneself. In this instance, we have determined that your event expresses views that are in violation of our Community Guidelines and Terms of Service and is therefore not permitted on the Eventbrite platform. As a result, your event listing has been removed."
"While you may continue to use Eventbrite for other events, if we become aware of any future event that violates our policies, we will remove it. Please note that severe or repeated violations of our policies could result in your account being terminated," the company warned.

Last month, the company delivered the same message when it yanked down a "What Is a Woman?" watch party event listing by the Western Kentucky University chapter of Turning Point USA.
But while Eventbrite claims that event listings for Walsh's documentary run afoul of its rules, it continues to allow posts about drag-related events which are open to children.
For example, right now on Eventbrite there is a listing for an "All Ages Drag Makeup" event that will be held next month in Australia. "This event is for all ages. LGBTIQA+ young people are strongly encouraged to come along," the description notes. Another listing currently posted on Eventbrite advertises an "All Ages Drag Bingo" event slated to take place later this month in Oregon.
Here is a trailer for Walsh's documentary:

Organizers of a march planned in support of President Donald Trump's legal efforts to contest the projected results of his challenge from Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden say Facebook, Mailchimp, and Eventbrite have all tried to "cancel" their movement.
Women for Trump co-founder Amy Kremer tweeted Tuesday that "The #MarchForTrump IS NOT CANCELED," saying, "@Eventbrite just shut down our event & emailed everyone that it was canceled THE MARCH IS NOT CANCELED First it was @Facebook Next it was @Mailchimp Now #Eventbrite#BigTech is trying shut down our march But we won't let them."
Kremer attached an email apparently sent from Eventbrite that explained:
"We encourage our organizers to express their views and gather for a chosen purpose as long as it's done in a way that doesn't violate our Terms of Service. We do not permit events, content, or creators that share or promote potentially harmful misinformation. In this instance, we have determined that your event violates our Community Guidelines and is therefore not permitted on the Eventbrite platform. As a result, your event listing has been removed and any paid orders have been refunded."
The notice further warned, "While you may continue to use Eventbrite for other events, please not that repeated or severe violations of our Guidelines may results in your account being terminated."

Neither Eventbrite, Facebook, or Mailchimp immediately responded to Fox Business' request for comment on the tweet.
Yet, the outlet did note that while "this weekend's event may be blocked, a separate event for March 21 from an anonymous organizer titled 'March on Washington for Trump' remains listed on the site. Additionally, a search of Facebook event listings shows several events listed on Saturday with titles including the phrase 'March for Trump.' None of them appear to be hosted by Kremer or her group."
The March for Trump is slated for Nov. 14 at noon in Washington, D.C. The invitation at stopthesteal.us reads:
Democrats are scheming to disenfranchise and nullify Republican votes.
It's up to us to stop it.
We will NOT back down!
This Saturday, thousands of patriots will be meeting at Freedom Plaza at noon and marching to the Supreme Court to show our support for the integrity of every American's vote and our support for President Trump exhausting every legal recourse available to ensure that EVERY LEGAL VOTE counts and that NO LEGAL VOTE is diluted.
At Freedom Plaza, we will hear from grassroots supporters of Trump and conservative leaders who are invested in ensuring that the integrity and faith in our system of government doesn't falter. This concept isn't a formality. It is foundational to who we are as a free people. And then we will march in a show of support for the President and his continued fight.
So come join us and let your voice be heard as we stand up for the disenfranchised and the voiceless.
Trump supporters are conducting rallies to get behind the president as his campaign fights lawsuits in several battleground states alleging voting irregularities and voter fraud after mainstream media roundly called the Nov. 3 election for Biden.
Meanwhile, Trump has refused to concede the election, while Biden is actively moving toward a transition to power.
