Tyson Vs. Paul Is The Post-Election, Feel-Good Slugfest America Needs
Friday's Mike Tyson vs. Jake Paul fight offers Americans a short break from the insanity of U.S. politics.
On July 13 in Butler, Pennsylvania, Donald Trump glanced at a screen displaying immigration statistics as he addressed a massive crowd of supporters. A moment later, on his knees, blood streaming down his face, he struggled to his feet and reassured his supporters that he would continue the fight. With one turn of his head, our world could have changed dramatically.
I do not know what would have happened in the timeline where an assassin splattered Trump’s brain live on camera. What kind of conflict and chaos could have erupted if the liberal media and ghoulish Democrats had gotten their deepest wish? I do not want to know. What I do know is that providence spared both Donald Trump and our beloved country that day, and now the moment of truth has come.
Even if Trump does secure the necessary votes, the battle will be far from over.
It is no secret that I am not a huge fan of what our republic has become. Mass democracy was never what the founding fathers wanted for this country, and I am more tired than most of hearing that “this is the most important election of our lifetime.” But with the weaponization of our justice system, the open attempt to take the opposing candidate off the ballot by any means necessary, and the flagrant effort to import a foreign voting base to dominate all future elections, it is hard not to see this moment as pivotal.
The Biden-Harris administration has normalized censorship, jailed political opponents, and made thinly veiled calls for violence. Another four years of open borders will permanently shift the electoral balance in favor of the Democratic Party, eroding our shared culture and way of life. If the left can imprison opponents and bring in a new voting base, we might still technically have elections — much like Saddam Hussein’s elections — but they would no longer influence governance. America would become a one-party state.
Despite an initial burst of astroturfed internet buzz, Kamala Harris has revealed herself to be the cynical, inept, and unlikeable DEI disaster every honest Democrat knew she was.
Harris was installed without winning a single primary, and the initial plan was to hide her from the public and hope that hatred for Trump would push her over the finish line. The campaign did its best to manage her exposure, but eventually Harris was required to begrudgingly make media appearances, in which she managed to embarrass herself despite having friendly interviewers and generous editing.
Trump and his running mate, JD Vance, took exactly the opposite approach. Both participated in lengthy interviews, often with hostile interlocutors, and performed admirably. A savvy embrace of new media and influential podcasters exposed younger male voters to Trump and Vance, energizing a critical demographic. Joe Rogan, probably the most culturally relevant talk show host since Oprah Winfrey, even put aside his previous support for Bernie Sanders to endorse the real estate tycoon. It’s clear that the momentum is on Trump’s side.
It is likely that we may not see a formal election result Tuesday night. The media has been preparing voters for a long counting process, and many state officials have echoed this refrain. For most of my life, one-night election results were the norm, and with the odd exception of the 2000 presidential election, everyone assumed this was the basic standard in an orderly First World country. The fact that the Democratic Party has succeeded in extending and obfuscating the election process should tell you everything about how far “our democracy” has fallen.
Even if Trump does secure the necessary votes, the battle will be far from over. Several Democrats have already announced their intention to reject certification even if Trump secures a legitimate victory, and you can be sure that leftist groups are already planning violence if he returns to office.
If Trump does become the 47th president, he will still face an uphill battle against a malicious media, hostile deep state, and corrupt Republican Party. A Trump victory is not a panacea, and conservatives will need to do the hard work of holding him to his promises while building local and state power.
But none of these challenges matter if Harris is installed to carry out the disastrous leftist agenda. So on Election Day, remember that you witnessed a miracle and fight for the future of your country. May God forever bless our country, bringing us to repentance and guiding us to a better future.
Sen. JD Vance (R-Ohio) definitively won Tuesday's vice presidential debate. Whereas a number of liberal pundits admitted as much, MSNBC talking head Joy Reid did her best to characterize Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz's abysmal showing as a strategic victory.
Midway through her latest mental gymnastic routine, Reid suggested that unlike the undecided voters Walz was supposedly trying to win over with words, the Democratic base is instead attracted to political violence, particularly toward President Donald Trump.
"I don't think that this was a debate that was designed to move people off of their team if they were already on it," Reid told her fellow panelists. "There is a very small, narrow group of people who have not made up their minds about Donald Trump and Kamala Harris."
According to Reid, Walz satisfactorily targeted that "small, narrow group of people" and gave them what they want and haven't alternatively been getting from Kamala Harris: policy details.
Unlike undecided voters hungry for more information, Reid suggested that the base of the Democratic Party wanted to see a "fist fight."
'Democrats are still calling for violence.'
"Democrats want to see someone get up there and give a knuckle sandwich to Donald Trump," continued Reid. "That's what they want, but that's not the group of people who need this debate. Those people are already voting, already know what they want."
Reid's admission that the Democratic base wants Harris' opponent to be met with physical harm appears to support the finding in a recent poll concerning Democrats' bloodlust.
Blaze News reported last month that nearly 3 in 10 Democrats polled by RMG Research for the Napolitan News Service following the second attempted assassination of President Donald Trump indicated they would have preferred for Trump to have been slaughtered at his golf course in West Palm Beach, Florida.
The suspected would-be assassin who had waited for Trump at the golf course was himself a long-time Democratic donor. The would-be assassin who shot Trump in July was also an ActBlue donor.
Responding to Reid's suggestion, conservative columnist Joe Concha wrote, "Joy Reid can say this stuff because as management showed with the Ronna McDaniel debacle, there is no accountability and the power is with the so-called on-air 'talent.'"
Concha was referencing the vicious smear campaign waged earlier this year against Ronna McDaniel by Reid, Joe Scarborough, Mika Brzezinksi, former Biden White House press secretary Jen Psaki, and Rachel Maddow and other talking heads at MSNBC after NBC News announced it was hiring the Republican.
In response to Reid's comments about physically attacking Trump, Libs of TikTok tweeted, "2 ass*ss*nation attempts and Iran plotting to try to get Trump and Democrats are still calling for violence."

A teenage girl was killed after a hit-and-run driver plowed into a crowd following an after-midnight fight involving multiple teens over the weekend in downtown Minneapolis — and business owners and residents are fed-up with the lawlessness, WCCO-TV reported.
Officers responded to a report of a hit-and-run crash on Fifth Street North at Hennepin Avenue around 12:23 a.m. Saturday, the station said, citing police, who said the female suspect drove in reverse on Hennepin and then drove the wrong way on Fifth Street into the crowd.
Chief O'Hara added to WCCO, presumably in reference to the involved teenagers, that 'I'm not their parent, right? So I can tell you my kid isn't gonna be hanging out on Hennepin Avenue at 12:30 at night in the middle of all this stuff going on here with bars.'
Six people were taken to Hennepin Healthcare, including a 16-year-old girl who later died, the station said, adding that another victim sustained life-threatening injuries while a handful of others suffered less serious injuries.
"The video of this incident is absolutely horrific," Minneapolis Police Chief Brian O'Hara said, according to WCCO. "There aren't words to describe how tragic and senseless it is."
The station interviewed residents and business owners who expressed outrage and frustration over what they call an out-of-control environment that plays out on a weekly basis.
"It's a nuthouse out here, man," one downtown resident told WCCO. "That's every weekend. I'm surprised it hasn't happened sooner." The resident added to the station off camera that "it's a zoo out here, man, and it's not getting any better."
Daniel Stensgaard, a business owner, added to the station that city leaders "should have their asses down here starting at 11 o'clock at night and let them walk around and watch the shortage of police officers and what's happened."
Chief O'Hara added to WCCO, presumably in reference to the involved teenagers, that "I'm not their parent, right? So I can tell you my kid isn't gonna be hanging out on Hennepin Avenue at 12:30 at night in the middle of all this stuff going on here with bars."
The police report added that the suspect drove out of downtown but that witnesses followed her, the station said. Police noted that representatives from multiple law enforcement agencies stopped the suspect on the 2300 block of Bryant Avenue North and arrested her, after which she was booked into Hennepin County Jail, WCCO said, adding that charges are pending.
You can view a video report here about the incident, which includes interviews with concerned locals and business owners as well as a brief clip of the hit-and-run, which appears to end prior to the moment of impact.

Former President Donald Trump has demonstrated serious heroism in the wake of the attempt on his life.
Not only did he stand up after the bullet grazed his ear, pump his fist, and make sure he made contact with his supporters while telling them to keep fighting — but he has already completely changed his RNC 2024 speech to allegedly focus on unity instead of political jabs.
Glenn Beck is thoroughly impressed and has an idea of what he hopes Trump will tell the nation in his speech.
“I would hope the president will come out and say something along the lines of ‘We’re standing here today because America is resilient. A few days ago, somebody tried to kill me, but by God’s grace that bullet only grazed me,’” Glenn says.
“When you have a bullet whiz by your head, there’s two ways to go. One is vengeance and the other is unity. And our nation is divided. Trust is low in our neighborhoods, in the media, everywhere,” he continues.
Despite knowing exactly what Trump meant, Glenn also believes he needs to address his use of the word “fight” that he yelled while pumping his fist.
“When I say ‘fight,’ what I mean is the little guy needs to rise up. Make sure your voice is heard, to be not afraid. We need to fight, but not with violence. We fight with our words, we fight on the streets with our words and with our actions,” he explains.
“Let’s show the rest of the world what it means to be American,” he continues. “Every voice matters, every citizen matters. Stand up for the principles in our Bill of Rights. Defend the truth with integrity and courage. Forgive others without compromising our values.”
Glenn leaves one parting message for Trump.
“It is important today that we all reach out to somebody that doesn’t agree with us, that is a friend. Just say, ‘How you doing today? Yeah, I know our guy was shot, but I want you to know I don’t hold you responsible for that, I’m sure you were just as offended as I was,’” he says.
“If they weren’t, move on. But most likely, any decent American was horrified by what they saw.”

Wild video shows the moment that four employees of Baltimore-Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport brawl with a fifth man at the Spirit Airlines ticket counter. The airport workers were suspended for their part in the nasty fight.
Officers with the Maryland Transportation Authority responded to the brouhaha late Tuesday afternoon, according to TMZ.
Video shows four airport employees fighting a fifth man at the Spirits Airlines ticket counter around 4:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
The man was in a fighting stance as four airport employees confronted him. Suddenly, a worker wearing a white button-down shirt charges at the man and takes a wild, flailing punch. The workers gang up on the man.
He falls to the floor and workers punched, stomped, and kicked him. Another employee walked over and socked the man in the face while he was being held on the ground.
The Maryland Transportation Authority said one person suffered minor injuries.
The four ticket agents reportedly worked for a vendor of Spirit Airlines, but are not actual employees.
The vendor said all four employees have been suspended pending the results of the investigation.
Spirit Airlines said in a statement, "We are aware of an altercation that occurred in Baltimore (BWI) on May 28. Our vendor has suspended four of their employees involved pending an investigation into the matter. We do not tolerate violence of any kind, and we will take appropriate action as necessary following the completion of the vendor's investigation."
The Maryland Transportation Authority said in a statement, "All involved parties were provided with victims’ rights and services information, including information about filing criminal charges at the local commissioner’s office."
Neither the Maryland Transportation Authority nor Spirit Airlines responded to requests for comment about the all-out brawl by the Baltimore Banner.

Cellphone video shows the moment a Texas middle-schooler grabbed a teacher and threw her sideways against a classroom wall amid a fight with another student Monday,
The fight took place Monday at Hurshel Antwine Middle School in El Paso, which is part of the Socorro Independent School District, KTSM-TV reported in reference to the video, which the station said has gone viral.
Separate thuds are audible when she hits the wall and then lands on the classroom floor.
KTSM's video report said the social studies teacher was trying to break up a fight between two of her students. The teacher is seen in the clip getting between the students in a classroom before one of the students appears to throw a punch past her, grabs her shoulders, and throws her sideways against a wall.
At least one of her legs is seen leaving the ground during the throw. Separate thuds are audible when she hits the wall and then lands on the classroom floor.
An unredacted video shows that the student who threw the teacher against the wall appears to be the aggressor in the fight with the other student, throwing repeated punches while the other student doesn't fight back. The one-sided dust-up continued for nearly 20 more seconds after the teacher was thrown.
The teacher soon rises to her feet after several seconds, and two individuals — presumably other teachers — enter the classroom, with one of them yelling, "What are you doing?" according to the unredacted video, as the students are separated.
The teacher who was thrown into the wall appears to collapse into a seated position on the floor.

KTSM said the following message was sent to parents: “Hello, this is Patricia Fernandez, principal of Hurshel Antwine Middle School. I am calling to inform you that an altercation occurred among students in a classroom on our campus today. This was an isolated incident between individual students. The students involved are being addressed by administration and law enforcement, as appropriate. There was no threat to other students or the campus. Thank you for your continued trust and support of Hurshel Antwine Middle School and Team SISD.”
The station said it reached out to the school district for comment.
Lone Star Live said district officials didn't answer when asked if the woman in the video is a teacher or if she she was injured. The outlet added that officials didn't answer when asked what kind of punishment the students involved might face, if they would be expelled, or if they would be sent to an alternative education program.
Officials also didn't answer when asked if teachers have panic buttons in their classrooms or if police are assigned to each school, Lone Star Live reported, adding that officials also didn't respond when asked who will decide whether or not to pursue charges in the case.

When a male punched a security officer for San Jose's Democratic Mayor Matt Mahan on Tuesday evening, a KRON-TV camera was rolling and recorded the entire two-minute fight — as well as what preceded it — since the station was interviewing Mahan on South 1st Street at the time.
The station said Mahan was in the area for a restaurant opening, and during the interview, a male pedestrian is seen in the video on his phone and walking past the mayor on the right.
KRON said the pedestrian then approached the mayor’s protective detail, and the pair were heard in a verbal exchange while Mahan let the pedestrian know he was in the middle of an interview.
"Oh, you're doin' an interview?" the pedestrian, now on camera, asked the mayor while standing next to him.
"I'm talkin' on the phone," the pedestrian said presumably to Mahan's security officer. "You got a problem?"
KRON said the pedestrian then told the security detail — a San Jose police officer — to "mind your (explicit) business." The pedestrian also told the security officer, “I was going to do what the (explicit) I was going to do right before you walked up to me,” the station reported.
Soon, the pedestrian walked forward and off camera, and apparently, physical contact was made between him and the security officer. The pedestrian also was heard saying he'll "smack" the security officer.
KRON said the pedestrian appeared to land a right-hand punch to the security detail’s head. Here's video of that punch and a handful of seconds that follow:

The full video of the fight is available only on KRON at present.
The battle between the pedestrian and the security officer went on for a while. This screenshot of the fight in progress includes arrows pointing (left to right) at the security officer, the pedestrian, and the mayor.

KRON's video shows a handful of bystanders finally entering the fray and helping the security officer get the pedestrian under control.
San Jose police officers eventually detained the pedestrian, the station said.
The mayor's security officer was injured during the fight and taken to a hospital for evaluation, KRON said, adding the police said they're submitting evidence to the district attorney’s office.
The station said the suspect was booked into Santa Clara County Main Jail for multiple charges, including felony battery on a police officer. The motive and circumstances surrounding the fight are under investigation, police told KRON.
Mahan was not physically harmed during the incident, the station said, and his office issued the following statement:
Mayor Matt Mahan is deeply grateful to his security detail and the entire San Jose Police Department. The actions of the Officer tonight were heroic and a testament to the deescalation training that makes our officers effective, compassionate and stewards of community trust. His thoughts are with the Officer and he hopes for a speedy recovery. The Mayor understands how privileged he is to have an armed officer protecting him at all times, and is resolved in his commitment to create a safer city for everyone. That means hiring more police officers and addressing the root causes of crime, including by intervening earlier and more effectively in cycles of addiction, mental illness and violence.

Parents are divided on who is at fault in a shocking fight between a Tennessee high school teacher and a student that was caught on video and has since gone viral.
The physical confrontation happened on Tuesday afternoon inside the cafeteria at Trezevant High School in Memphis.
Video shows the teacher and the student getting in each other's faces. The teacher, dressed in a purple shirt, is seen shoving the student, wearing a white shirt, on four different occasions. After the teacher pushed the student the fourth time, the student squares up with fists and escalates the situation. The student then unleashes a flurry of punches at the teacher.
The teacher initially attempts to wrap up the student with his arms, but then retaliates with punches.
The fight is broken up by a police officer.
The 16-year-old student involved in the fight said he was reacting to the teacher pushing him.
"He was constantly pushing me, and I was telling him all of that force wasn’t needed, and I was still walking, and he was constantly pushing me," the student told WHBQ. "He pushed me again, and that’s when I got angry and fought back."
Lakita Craft, the mother of the student who fought with the teacher, said the school staff should have done a better job of deescalating the situation.
Other students then joined the fight.
Shelby County Commissioner Charlie Caswell Jr. said as many as 50 people were involved in the brouhaha.
Another student who witnessed the fight said he believed that the teacher was in the wrong.
The anonymous student told WREG-TV, "He pushed him, and he wasn’t supposed to get that aggressive with the student."
He added, "Teachers can’t touch students."
The anonymous student said he participated in the fight and has since been suspended from Trezevant High School for his actions.
A parent agreed that the teacher was at fault in the physical altercation.
LaDarrel Young told the outlet, "Everyone has to be held accountable. If the teacher puts hands on him first then of course the student is going to react. Ain’t no student going to let anybody put their hand on them, whether it’s an adult or another child."
However, another parent said the teacher did nothing wrong and was understandably defending himself from an aggressor.
The unnamed parent said, "The teacher should not be penalized for that. You actually have to hold the people accountable who started the fight – that was the child."
Memphis-Shelby County Schools said in a statement that several students were detained in the melee. The school district noted that they have launched an investigation into the ugly incident and that appropriate disciplinary actions will be administered.

The American flying experience is shadowed not only by the threat of structural breakdown but also of social breakdown. Fortunately, there are remedies for both.
In the case of a recent American Airlines flight set to take off from Tampa, Florida, for Philadelphia, the remedy apparently took the form of a hulking off-duty cop with an apparent zero-tolerance policy for nonsense.
American Airlines flight 2506 was scheduled to depart Tampa International Airport Tuesday afternoon. However, a physical altercation broke out during boarding, resulting in a 30-minute delay, reported the Philadelphia Inquirer.
The incident, which was captured on video, appears to have started when an individual in a blue-striped shirt was asked to disembark and refused to do so.
A male flight attendant can be seen calmly asking the unruly passenger to comply. The passenger threatens the flight attendant, then returns to his seat.
After suggesting that the flight attendants were ganging up on him, the unruly passenger twice hurls anti-Semitic remarks, calling the male attendant a "k**e" and "k**e human."
This was Tuesday. Part 1 of 3. 👇

“You as a k*** human”— (@)
The bigot evidently attracts the interest of at least one other passenger, who appears to recommend that he get off the plane.
"You want to be a tough guy, bro?" says the unruly passenger. "You're all teaming up. See how most of the people are white here?"
The unruly passenger tells the female flight attendant, "I'm trying to get to my home country, and you all people made it harder for me to get to my home country. I'm telling you, I'm telling you."
— (@)
Having sapped the goodwill in the airplane, the unruly passenger decides to get physical with a brawny man in a blue-hooded shirt and baseball hat.
"They want to see you up front, cos. Go up to the front," says the man in blue. "C'mon, c'mon."
No longer dealing with timid flight attendants, the unruly passenger's demeanor appears to shift. He calls the man in blue "big guy," then asks, "You gonna touch me?"
The man in blue indicates he is not interested in a physical confrontation, even as the unruly passenger shouts in his face.
As the female flight attendant calls for support, the unruly passenger takes a step in the right direction but pivots, approaching the man in blue, aggressively yelling, "You touch me, fool?"
The man in blue defensively pushes the bigot back; however, the unruly passenger swiftly closes the distance, attacking the man in blue and pushing him rearward into other people standing in the aisle.
The man in blue makes quick work out of the unruly passenger, putting him in a headlock.
"Now put your hands down and don't touch anybody," yells the man in blue.
A woman off camera can be heard announcing, "I'm a police officer.
The man in blue responds, "So am I."
"Turn around and walk," says the man in blue to the bigot.
With the help of the other self-identified cop, the man in blue successfully escorts the unruly passenger off the plane to the sound of applause.
Part 3 of 3. The Grand Finale.👇

Can we hire the guy in the blue hoodie to work the front lines of the soon-to-be-created deportation task force?— (@)
The Tampa International Airport Police Department indicated that police arrested the unruly passenger just before 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. He was reportedly charged with disorderly intoxication and two counts of battery.
American Airlines told the Inquirer that law enforcement had been requested to the aircraft "due to a disturbance in the cabin involving a disruptive customer." According to the Federal Aviation Administration, the incident involved two passengers who got into a tussle during boarding.
"We thank our team for their professionalism and apologize to our customers for the inconvenience," said the airline.
