Takei targets Trump for character assassination

Which sci-fi veteran is proving more embarrassing to his franchise? Is it Mark "Luke Skywalker" Hamill or George "Lt. Sulu" Takei?

Takei is still posting “Trump is Hitler”-style rants on X as if the former president didn't almost take a bullet in the head Saturday night. Hamill, not to be bested, has stooped to mocking the bandage on Trump’s ear at the RNC gala in Milwaukee.

Both are clearly operating in a galaxy far, far away from the prevailing mood in America. Oh, well: The search for intelligent life among the Trump-deranged continues. Gotta give ‘em points for honesty.

The creators behind “The Apprentice,” the feature-length hit piece on Donald Trump, are desperate to debut their film prior to Election Day.

The film, which debuted at the Cannes Film Festival earlier this summer, is in limbo for several reasons. One: Studios aren’t eager to buy it, with some citing its polarizing nature. Two: Producer Dan Snyder is a Trump fan and somehow didn’t realize his film is hyper-critical of its subject matter.

Three: Trump has threatened to sue the team behind “The Apprentice” over its unfair depiction of him. Case in point: The film shows Trump (Sebastian Stan) raping his then-wife Ivana Trump. Except she claimed it never happened prior to her 2022 death.

Team “Apprentice” better figure something out if they want to sway the voters. October surprises aren't nearly as effective when you save them until December.

Welcome back, Axel! “Beverly Hills Cop: Axel F” is a hit for Netflix. The fourth film in the “Cop” saga – and first in 30 years -- screams big-screen summer blockbuster. Instead, it was up to the streamer to give star Eddie Murphy one more crack at his iconic character.

Audiences are eating it up. The film is still atop Netflix's Top Movies chart following its July 3 release with a total of 22.2 million views, according to Deadline.com.

Why? We’re addicted to sequels, full stop. Plus, “Axel F” has a distinct “Top Gun: Maverick” vibe. Full-on nostalgia. Beloved actors returning to the franchise. Respect for both Axel Foley and his ‘80s frame of mind.

It’s a simple formula. Why Hollywood doesn’t lather, rinse, and repeat it is beyond us.

Turns out the corporate culture at Disney is far from G-rated. Internal Slack messages James O’Keefe snagged from the Mouse House reveal some curious extracurricular antics. Think naked bike rides, swinger meet-ups and tips on name changes during sex transitions.

In Disney’s defense, employees can do whatever they wish, assuming it’s legal, in their personal time. It still explains a lot, no?

Actor John Leguizamo isn’t a journalist, but he plays one for “The Daily Show.” He’s taken a shine to his fake news duties, if his X account is any indication.

The “Ice Age” actor tried to peddle a conspiracy theory surrounding the Trump assassination attempt. He shared a picture of Trump on X that showed no damage to the president’s ear. Gotcha, Orange Man Bad!

“Not even a scratch! But milk it for all you can!“ he cried. The bigger picture? Team Trump staged the shooting … even though several people were hurt in the melee and one died from injuries sustained at the Pennsylvania rally.

Except the picture is from 2022.

He previously shared a post claiming documents prove Trump committed serial child rape as part of the Epstein scandal. Suffice it to say if such documents existed, the mainstream media would be eager to cover it.

Nonetheless, the intrepid non-reporter continues to chase after his scoop. A certain saber-toothed squirrel and his ever-elusive acorn come to mind.

Hillbillies are having a moment thanks to President Trump.

“Hillbilly Elegy,” the stirring 2020 adaptation of vice presidential candidate JD Vance’s best-selling memoir, is a hit on both Netflix and Amazon.

The Ron Howard film got pummeled by critics upon its release. The story follows a young Vance balancing family strife and his collegiate ambitions. How polarizing is it? Glenn Close earned an Oscar nomination and a Golden Raspberry nod for her portrayal of Vance’s wily Mamaw.

Makes you wonder what other movies are trending thanks to the presidential race. "Weekend at Bernie's," anyone?

George Takei beclowns himself playing victim after illegal alien charged with brutally murdering nursing student Laken Riley

Far-left social media warrior George Takei is still fighting the woke fight — and this time the 86-year-old "Star Trek" alum utterly failed to lock his phasers on target and actually played the victim in the wake of an illegal alien getting charged with murdering nursing student Laken Riley.

Say what?

It all started with Republican House Speaker Mike Johnson's post on X over the weekend saying Riley's murder suspect is "one of the millions of illegal aliens that the Biden Administration simply released and unleashed upon our country" and demanding that the president close the border with Mexico.

Instead of taking the "L" and just scrolling on, Takei — not known for keeping his opinions to himself — decided to try fighting Johnson on X.

Takei, who played Sulu on the Starship Enterprise, would have been better off staying in sick bay. Here's how he responded to Johnson:

— (@)

"I know your type of politician. Men like you smeared my community during World War II by preying upon people’s fears of others who didn’t look like them. It led to the internment and 125,000 shattered lives," Takei wrote to Johnson. "Never again."

Umm ... huh?

First off, Takei's statement doesn't at all address Riley's murder and that an illegal alien has been charged with it. Second — and perhaps most astonishing — Takei somehow managed to liken Johnson's demand that Biden close the border so illegal aliens can't enter the U.S. to what progressive Democrat President Franklin D. Roosevelt did to American citizens who happened to be of Japanese descent in World War II.

The latter was not lost on commenters, who rightly gave Takei a piece of their minds. Here's a smattering of them:

Anything else?

This was far from the first time Takei stepped on a rake in his quest to own his political adversaries:

  • In December he suggested that Republican efforts to protect children from irreversible genital mutilation and hormone treatments are akin to — here we go again — the internment of Japanese Americans during World War II and the "dark forces ... that led to the horrors of the Holocaust in Europe."
  • Last June he defended fellow LGBT activists who exposed their genitals to children at a Seattle pride parade.
  • Back in 2020, he hoped that Sen. Marco Rubio (R-Fla.) would suffer an adverse reaction from a COVID-19 vaccine.

Anyway, if ol' George is reading this, he can educate himself by checking out this recent news video covering Riley's murder:

George Takei compares Republican efforts to protect children from genital mutilation to the 'dark forces' that 'led to ... the Holocaust'

Once a tertiary actor on the 1960s "Star Trek" series, George Takei has since become an outspoken LGBT activist and Biden booster.

The 86-year-old has repeatedly made headlines for questionable takes, such as his defense of fellow LGBT activists who exposed their genitals to children at a Seattle pride parade; public expression of hope that Sen. Marco Rubio (R-Fla.) suffer an adverse reaction from a COVID-19 vaccine; and his suggestion that Immigration and Customs Enforcement detention centers were comparable to concentration camps.

In an apparent attempt to outdo himself, Takei suggested last week that Republican efforts to protect children from irreversible genital mutilation and hormone treatments call to mind the internment of Japanese Americans during World War II and the "dark forces ... that led to the horrors of the Holocaust in Europe."

In an Aug. 15 opinion piece for the Daily Beast, Takei once again detailed his family's grievous wartime relocation from Los Angeles to an internment camp in Rohwer, Arkansas.

The actor suggested that upon reflecting on President Franklin Delano Roosevelt's alleged need to scapegoat 125,000 Japanese Americans, he came to "understand what being scapegoated meant: a convenient target for politicians, a way to whip up hate and bigotry to win elections, a place to lay blame where none should lay."

According to Takei, elements of the LGBT community — which has seen its activist flag featured more prominently than the American flag on the White House and had its agenda all but embraced by the whole of the federal government and Wall Street — is being scapegoated.

"Armed with dangerous tropes from over 50 years ago, where gay and trans people are labeled as 'groomers' who are a danger to children, wily politicians such as Gov. Ron DeSantis of Florida began a campaign to drive us out, to erase our families and identities in education, in library books, and in our own communities," wrote Takei. "They even targeted retail stores that supported us during our month of Pride."

"More ominously, and in the name of 'protecting' trans kids and in defiance of all expert opinion, politicians at the state level have banned critically necessary trans medical care," continued Takei. "It was not only ignorant, but it was also deliberately cruel."

DeSantis and Republicans in over 18 other states have passed legislation preventing children from undergoing sex-change procedures.

Although such protections have been held up in Georgia, Alabama's law prohibiting the prescription of irreversible puberty blockers to children was re-enforced Monday after an appeals court reversed an injunction following a complaint from the Biden Department of Justice.

The ostensible purpose of these laws is not to scapegoat, but to spare minors the fate of de-transitioners like Daniel Black.

TheBlaze previously reported that Black was given hormone treatments at the age of 17 following a 30-minute consultation. Two years later, he received breast implants and had his penis cut off.

The procedures brought Black neither solace or contentment.

He wrote on Twitter, "The whole experience was horrible and exhausting. I was not able to finish school and my mental state went from bad to worse. I don’t recommend undergoing this surgery to anyone. It’s mutilation. Men will never be women. Women will never be men."

Layla Jane, another of Takei's alleged scapegoats, underwent the "torment" of testosterone injections and puberty blockers at the age of 12, then had her healthy breasts removed at the age of 13.

Jane wrote on Twitter, "Mind boggling to me that a doctor signed off on a double mastectomy for me before I had taken a sex ed course. I barely started 8th grade, I was 13."

Michelle Zacchigna is a 34-year-old woman who suffered an elective double mastectomy and a partial hysterectomy.

On the Gender Dysphoria Alliance website, she said, "I am faced with the reality that I had surgically removed healthy body parts that I could have used to carry and feed my future children. I have male-pattern balding and a deepened voice for the rest of my life. And it seems that I have no recourse for what happened."

Takei suggested that legal protections to ensure more people like Zacchigna, Jane, and Black do not end up sterile, transmogrified, and full of regret are the second step in a multi-step process executed by "dark forces, the kind that led to the horrors of the Holocaust in Europe."

After taking his historic parallels to Europe, Takei concluded his piece by once again suggesting that the opposition to gender ideology and LGBT activism is comparable to Japanese internment, writing, "All of us have a role to play to ensure what happened in America does not ever happen again. In 2024, we, and our allies, must vote as if our lives depend on it—because they do."

Big leftist names DEFEND naked Pride parades: 'Seeing a man naked on a bike isn’t going to have much of an impact on any kid'

As people across the country erupt in indignation over the public nudity featured at this year’s Pride parades, big left-wing names are taking to Twitter to defend the participants.

Sara Gonzales of “The News & Why It Matters” is horrified by “the whole lot of debauchery going on at Pride parades across the country.”

And perhaps even more so by the fact that said debauchery is now being justified by certain people on the left.

She mentions Ron Filipkowski, a criminal defense attorney in Sarasota, Florida, who tweeted:

“Take away your right to show your dong to children I guess?” Sara says.

Then she shows a disturbing Tweet from Brian Krassenstein that read:

“So we’re supposed to believe that if some young child accidentally walked in on their – you know – dad taking a shower, that’s the same thing as being taken to a parade where they wave dildos and have BDSM gear whipping their gay partners? … And we’re supposed to believe that that’s not going to have much of an impression on a child?” Sara scoffs.

How did we get to a place where there’s no such thing as “normal story hour" any more?

George Takei of 'Star Trek' fame calls William Shatner 'a cantankerous old man'

Actor George Takei, widely known for his role as Sulu on the 1960s-era television series "Star Trek," has described William Shatner, who played the character Captain Kirk on the show, as "a cantankerous old man."

Asked whether the onscreen camaraderie of the characters on the show was a reality on the set, Takei answered in the affirmative: "Yes. Yes. YES," he said, according to the Guardian. "Except for one, who was a prima donna." The outlet said that Takei meant Shatner. "But the rest of us shared a great camaraderie. One of the gifts from 'Star Trek' was not just longevity but colleagues that became lasting friends," Takei said.

According to the Guardian, the Times reported that Shatner said Takei has "never stopped blackening my name."

"I know he came to London to promote his book and talked about me wanting publicity by using his name. So I decided I don't need his name to get publicity. I have much more substantial subject matter that I want to get publicity for, so I'm not going to refer to Bill in this interview at all," Takei said, according to the Guardian. "Although I just did. He's just a cantankerous old man and I'm going to leave him to his devices. I'm not going to play his game."

When asked if the actor had been cantankerous at a younger age, Takei said that Shatner "was self-involved. He enjoyed being the centre of attention. He wanted everyone to kowtow to him."

Shatner made history last year when he blasted off for a very brief trip aboard a Blue Origin rocket and at the age of 90, became the oldest person ever to venture into space.

Leftist actor George Takei hopes GOP Sen. Marco Rubio gets allergic reaction from COVID-19 vaccine — and backlash hits quickly

Far-left actor George Takei — known the world over for his iconic role as Mr. Sulu on the "Star Trek" TV series — said he hopes Republican U.S. Sen. Marco Rubio gets an allergic reaction from his recent COVID-19 vaccine.

"There are very, very few instances of known allergic reactions to the COVID-19 vaccine, but Marco Rubio has always thought of himself as one in a million so there's still hope," Takei tweeted Sunday.

How did folks respond?

As you might guess, Takei — a major left-wing social media force nowadays — has plenty of fans who concurred with his brutal tweet about Rubio. But not everybody felt similarly.

"This is psychotic," editor Bethany S. Mandel commented. "We want everyone to take this vaccine and be in good health, especially those who are setting the right example by getting it. That includes @marcorubio. Seriously, seek help because this is not a normal reaction to seeing someone get a vaccine."

Others agreed:

  • "Sir, with respect, you are better than this," one commenter replied.
  • "Disgusting! Your hate has made you a very ugly and disgusting human being," another user noted.
  • "Is asshole on your resume?" another user asked.
  • "Man, you people are terrible at the whole unity and healing stuff," yet another commenter wrote.
  • "That's vile, George. Be ashamed," another user declared.

Takei was taken to task in 2017 for claiming that then-House Majority Whip Steve Scalise (R-La.) received justice at the hands of the universe when he was shot and bashed earlier that year for likening President Donald Trump to North Korean dictator Kim Jong Un.

Here's Takei in his better days as Mr. Sulu on the "Star Trek" TV series:

Rubio along with fellow GOP U.S. Sen. Lindsey Graham (S.C.) were criticized by opponents in the media and in Hollywood for getting the vaccine early — despite Brian Monahan, Congress' attending physician, having urged members to make vaccination appointments, Politico reported. The outlet added that next in line will be "continuity-essential staff members" — likely campus police officers and other essential workers who keep the Capitol running amid the pandemic.

That didn't stop Ana Navarro-Cardenas from expressing her disdain:
