Charles Barkley weighs in on Trump's victory, rips Democrats over brutal election loss: 'You guys lost because y'all stupid'

Charles Barkley smashed Democrats and the Harris campaign for their devastating election loss. The NBA Hall of Famer also weighed in on how he'll approach Donald Trump's second term as president of the United States.

Barkley first congratulated President-elect Trump on his decisive 2024 election victory.

'When you win, you get to say what you want to. When you lose, you need to shut the hell up.'

"I wish him nothing but the best, but we lost," Barkley said of Trump on a recent episode of his "The Steam Room" podcast.

"I don’t think everybody who voted for Trump is racist or whatever," Barkley noted. "I’m not a fan of the guy, but he’s the president. I’m gonna have to respect the office."

"I wish President-elect Donald Trump nothing but the best, because, hey, he won the race fair and square," Barkley said. "I hope that he realized that 71 million people voted for her and do the best for the American people, plain and simple."

Barkley then skewered the Democratic Party for "not having a game plan."

"But we lost," Barkley conceded. "And I just want to say this to the Democrats – which I’m an Independent who voted Democratic. Do me this favor, shut the f*** up! When you win, you get to say what you want to. When you lose, you need to shut the hell up."

Barkley then listed the excuses Democrats used to try to explain why Vice President Kamala Harris was soundly beaten by Trump in the election. He cited the Democrat talking point that President Joe Biden didn't drop out of the race soon enough.

"We lost because we had no game plan," Barkley stated. "We still haven’t solved the immigration problem, have no viable answers, never addressed inflation. Bringing all these stupid stars out to rally the vote, what was that? Hey, I love Beyoncé. That ain’t gonna make me vote a certain type of way. Cardi B, I like Cardi B. That ain't gonna make me vote a certain way."

Barkley said Kamala should have had "a better game plan going forward, instead of bringing celebrities around" because "people want solutions."

Barkley admitted during his recent podcast rant, "I voted for Kamala. But like I said, we didn’t win."

"It’s all our faults for not having a game plan," Barkley said. "We’re not having concerts and rallies. People want solutions. They want money in their pocket. They want the border secure."

"You guys lost because y’all stupid. Come up with solutions," the 11-time NBA All Star stated.

Barkley blasted Democrat cities for having rampant crime, including unchecked shoplifting to the point that stores are forced to lock up their merchandise.

The "NBA on TNT" host said Biden has been "tremendous," and he has nothing but "admiration and respect" for him.

Barkley slammed anyone criticizing Auburn basketball coach Bruce Pearl for casting his vote for Trump.

"The next one of you fools, idiots, and jackasses send me an article about Bruce Pearl supporting Trump, I’m gonna punch you in your face," Barkley proclaimed. "Bruce Pearl can vote for who he wants to. Bruce Pearl got two jobs: win basketball games and graduate players. That's all I care about."

"That man can support who he wants to," the former Auburn All-American basketball player continued. "These people are out here telling me, 'If you don't vote for Kamala, you ain't black.' Shut the hell up. People can vote for who they want to."

As Blaze News reported in March, Barkley had a much different opinion about black people supporting Trump when he stated: "If I see a black person walking around with Trump mugs, I'm going to punch him in the face."

Also in March, Barkley scolded Democrats for "only caring about black people every four years."

Barkley's podcast co-host, Ernie Johnson, said he also voted for Harris.

Johnson said he wasn't surprised that Trump won, but he was bothered that some Democrats are now saying: "If you voted for Donald Trump, I want nothing to do with you."

"That's the part that we have to get over," Johnson added. "The fact that you voted one way, and I voted another way, that we can never see anything eye to eye or we never want anything to do with each other, because we're getting nowhere that way."

DNC official blasts Harris campaign as '$1 billion disaster' while Trump trolls Democrats' lavish spending

A Democratic National Committee official skewered the Harris campaign, proclaiming it to be a "$1 billion disaster." President-elect Donald Trump trolled the Democrats' lavish spending on the failed campaign.

Lindy Li — who sits on the Democratic National Committee's finance committee — slammed the Harris campaign for allegedly misleading Democratic donors about Kamala's chances of winning the 2024 presidential election.

'I think that was a big f*** you to the party.'

Li told “Fox & Friends” on Saturday, “The truth is, this is just an epic disaster — this is a $1 billion disaster. They’re $20 million or $18 million in debt. It’s incredible, and I raised millions of that."

Campaign filings show that the Harris-Walz campaign took in at least $1 billion, plus an additional $600 million from other aligned groups.

Citing sources, Politico's Christopher Cadelago reported that Kamala's campaign ended with at least $20 million in debt.

Li then blasted Harris campaign chairwoman Jen O’Malley Dillon and accused her of misleading Democratic donors into wasting millions of dollars.

“I have friends I have to be accountable and explain things to because I told them it was a margin-of-error race," Li stated. "I was promised, Jen O’Malley Dillon promised all of us that Harris would win. She even put videos out saying Harris would win. I believed her, my donors believed her, and so they wrote massive checks. I feel like a lot of us were misled.”

Li noted that even on Election Night, people within the campaign assured her that Vice President Kamala Harris would win.

Li — a now-former campaign surrogate for Harris — said, "I looked somebody in the eye, and said, 'Are we gonna do this? Are we gonna pull this off?' She told me, 'Yes.'"

Another Harris campaign member told Li that the election was in the bag for Kamala because "we're gonna win Iowa."

Li recalled thinking, "I was like, 'What?'"

Li said the relationship was "terrible" between high-profile supporters of President Joe Biden and Harris even "before the campaign."

"There was backstabbing, they wanted to hand her the least favorable agenda," Li stated. "She was stuck with immigration, civil rights."

"There was backstabbing by the press, they were leaking all the time," Li continued. "The White House was leaking like a sieve when it came to Kamala Harris."

Li said if Democrats truly felt like Trump was an "existential threat" then they should have had a primary to get the best candidate instead of "coronating" Harris.

“I actually think President Biden, the whole endorsing her 30 minutes after he dropped out, I think that was a big f*** you to the party," Li said. "‘If you don’t want me, here’s somebody you may not like, deal with it.'”

Li admitted that Harris had a lot of staff turnover.

As Blaze News reported, the Harris team spent millions on celebrity and influencer endorsements as well as high costs related to "event production."

Meanwhile, Trump also lampooned the Harris campaign for spending a record amount of money and having nothing to show for it.

"I am very surprised that the Democrats, who fought a hard and valiant fight in the 2020 presidential election, raising a record amount of money, didn’t have lots of $’s left over," Trump declared on the X social media platform. "Now they are being squeezed by vendors and others."

Trump stated on Saturday, "Whatever we can do to help them during this difficult period, I would strongly recommend we, as a party and for the sake of desperately needed UNITY, do. We have a lot of money left over in that our biggest asset in the campaign was 'earned media,' and that doesn’t cost very much. MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!"

According to campaign finance filings, Trump raised just over $1 billion in donations from his campaign committee and other groups. Following the election, the Trump campaign has roughly $125 million cash on hand.

No joy in the mourning: Joy Reid pouts that Harris ran 'perfect campaign,' blames 'white women' for VP's crushing NC defeat

As Donald Trump cruised toward a dominant victory in the 2024 presidential election Tuesday night, Trump-hating MSNBC host Joy Reid exhibited a decided lack of joy and issued some whopper statements as things began slipping away for Democrat nominee Kamala Harris.

For starters, Reid pouted and just couldn't comprehend Harris' electoral demise — and actually stated that the vice president ran a "perfect campaign."

'This dumb woman doesn't accomplish anything. She doesn't create or build anything. She spreads delusions due to mental illness. NBC should fire her immediately.'

"If this is an audition for managing a complex organization like the United States, Kamala Harris has passed the audition flawlessly," Reid stated. "This in many ways has been a perfect campaign — a brief, and she barely had any time to put it together. But just as a managerial matter, it's been brilliantly done."

During the same MSNBC election night broadcast, Reid also threw shade at "white women" for failing to come through for Harris in the battleground state of North Carolina — a crushing loss for the Democrat nominee.

"Black voters came through for Kamala Harris; white women voters did not," Reid lamented. "That is what appears happened in that state." She went on to say that the Harris campaign wasn't able to "flip enough white women" even though women in North Carolina "lost their reproductive rights."

Reid added, "That message obviously was not enough to get enough white women to vote for Vice President Harris, a fellow woman, this will be the second opportunity that white women in this country have had to change the way that they interact with the patriarchy."

How are observers reacting?

As you might guess, a number of X users who watched Reid's statements weren't the least bit sympathetic to the MSBNC host.

In regard to Harris' "perfect campaign":

  • "The irony is Joy Reid actually believes this to be true," one commenter said.
  • "It’s so bad, they have to gaslight themselves at this point," another user noted.
  • "If she ran a perfect campaign she would have won," another commenter reasoned.
  • "They are so out of touch with reality it’s remarkable to watch," another user stated. "Absolutely clueless."
  • "The thing I don't get is do they really think everyone else is so impressionable and stupid that they can just lie and make it true, or are they gaslighting themselves?" another commenter wondered.

In regard to Reid blaming "white women":

  • "[Trump Derangement Syndrome] in full swing," one commenter said.
  • "For Joy Reid, it’s always about white people instead of people," another user noticed. "She will never change that mindset."
  • "This dumb woman doesn't accomplish anything. She doesn't create or build anything. She spreads delusions due to mental illness," another commenter noted. "NBC should fire her immediately."
  • "Joy Reid's rant shows how desperate they are to shift blame," another user wrote. "White women aren’t the problem; it’s the failed policies that don’t resonate."
  • "Is she judging us by the color of our skin?" another commenter asked.

‘He’s A Reminder Of The Last Four Years’: Harris Campaign Keeps Its Distance From Joe Biden: REPORT

Harris’s team reportedly refuses to be direct with Biden to avoid bruising his ego or hurting his feelings

Insider says Kamala’s campaign is in chaos: Cursing, quitting, and crying

The election is getting closer, and Kamala Harris’ campaign may be falling apart.

Not only did Donald Trump expertly troll the Vice President by spending a day as a fry cook at McDonald's, but Harris, who claimed to have worked there in the past, appears never to have worked there at all: McDonalds can’t find any record of her as an employee.

“It’s weird, they can’t find the employment records for Kamala Harris from the 1980s,” Pat Gray of “Pat Gray Unleashed” comments. “McDonald’s is trying to play it cool by saying ‘Yeah, we can’t find her employment.' They’re trying not to take sides, I guess.”

But it gets worse.

Keith Malinak claims that he has a source from inside the campaign who has told him that Kamala is in full-on breakdown mode.

“I got a good source, they’re very close to the Walz campaign, and this individual has been spot-on with a lot of stuff that has been sent my way,” Malinak explains.

“I got this last night: ‘Kamala has completely lost it mentally. She breaks down in tears in private, and she has gone after Doug, accusing him of tanking the campaign with his scandals,'” he continues. “She repeatedly cusses out Joe Biden in staff meetings for taking airtime away from her, and she’s livid over the hurricane stuff.”

Malinak also was told that Kamala has “had to double her anxiety medication” and that “a few campaign staffers have quit.”

“They quit because they want to try to focus on explaining her policies instead of attacking Trump, which is all she has been doing, and it isn’t working. She feels she made the wrong VP pick as well, because he has many scandals and she feels like the Democrat machine wants her to lose,” he adds.

Kamala and her campaign management are also reportedly arguing about her appearing on Joe Rogan’s podcast. Apparently, she wants to do it, while her campaign management believes “an hour of her in a room with somebody that is going to ask her tough questions would give Trump a 48-state win.”

“They don’t trust her, and it’s an endless circle of arguments,” he adds.

Harris Campaign Sets Quarterly Fundraising Record Just Weeks Before Election

Vice President Kamala Harris’ fundraising haul broke records

Biden Will Not Appear With Kamala Harris Before Election Day: REPORT

‘He’s out there doing the job as president, and she’s out there campaigning'

Soros-backed Democratic propaganda network is helping the Harris campaign deceive Americans

The Harris campaign posted an image of what appeared to be a real news headline on Monday, which read, "Polish Pennsylvanians endorse Kamala Harris over Putin, Ukraine concerns."

Harris boosters online suggested this was a "huge endorsement," with some insinuating it was confirmation that the bulk of American Poles in the commonwealth were backing the vice president.

Keen observers, however, suspected there was something fishy about the supposed endorsement — especially since Trump reportedly won a majority of votes in eight of the 10 Pennsylvania neighborhoods with the highest concentrations of American Poles in 2020 — as well as about the source of the campaign's claim.

It turns out that the endorsement was not reflective of the broader Polish-American community's political opinion but rather noise from a small group of avowed Democrats, including Rep. Chrissy Houlahan (D) and Democratic state Reps. Jessica Benham, Eddie Day Pashinksi, and Melissa Cerrato.

'Although the articles are made to resemble ordinary news, their purpose isn’t primarily to build a readership for the website.'

The publication cited in the Harris campaign tweet, the Keystone Newsroom, is actually part of the Courier Newsroom leftist propaganda network founded in 2017 by Democratic strategist Tara McGowan — the head of the Acronym network of Democratic-aligned activist groups who previously served as a staffer on President Barack Obama's 2012 re-election campaign, as an associate producer for CBS News, and as an operative for a super PAC that supported Hillary Clinton's failed 2016 campaign.

Acronym's political arm, Pacronym, is a Democratic super PAC that dumped tens of millions of dollars into recent elections.

In 2019, Bloomberg revealed McGowan's intention behind Courier Newsroom's local propaganda outfits: "Capture and persuade a small portion of strategically situated swing-state voters" in states such as Arizona, Nevada, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Virginia, and Wisconsin.

Bloomberg noted:

While the articles she publishes are based on facts, nothing alerts readers that Courier publications aren’t actually traditional hometown newspapers but political instruments designed to get them to vote for Democrats. And although the articles are made to resemble ordinary news, their purpose isn’t primarily to build a readership for the website: It’s for the pieces to travel individually through social media, amplifying their influence with persuadable voters.

The propaganda network closely resembles a Democratic voter outreach operation.

"Everybody who clicks on, likes, or shares an article," said McGowan, "we get that data back to create a lookalike audience to find other people with similar attributes in the same area. So we continually grow our ability to find people."

'What I say to them is, balance does not exist any more.'

McGowan revealed that because her propaganda network is for profit, she was initially able to get around Google's tight restrictions on micro-targeting political ads — and appears to have so far avoided registering with the Federal Election Commission as a political group.

Some social media platforms are wise to what Courier really is. Facebook, for instance, removed the publications from its news feed ahead of the 2020 presidential election, recognizing it as propaganda.

While the Harris campaign appears keen to pretend the headline is real, it's clear that McGowan — who retweeted the Harris campaign's image of the headline — is under no illusion that the Keystone Newsroom and related outfits are anything more than propaganda.

"A lot of people I respect will see this media company as an affront to journalistic integrity because it won't, in their eyes, be balanced," she told Bloomberg. "What I say to them is, balance does not exist any more."

The propaganda network has reportedly been funded in the past by billionaire leftist George Soros, LinkedIn co-founder Reid Hoffman, and various wealthy Democratic donors. Soros' Fund for Policy Reform poured at least $5 million into Courier between 2021 and 2022.

Blaze News previously noted that ahead of the 2022 midterm elections, the leftist propaganda network received $1.2 million from the New Venture Fund, Hopewell Fund, and the Sixteen Thirty Fund — all three managed by Arabella Advisors, a leftist, for-profit dark money group based in Washington, D.C.

It appears the propaganda network is now trying to help Harris win over Polish-American voters by characterizing President Donald Trump as sympathetic to Russia, citing his desire to bring an end to the war in Ukraine, which has so far left at least 1 million dead or injured.

The Associated Press noted that there are an estimated 784,000 Polish-Americans in Michigan, 758,000 in Pennsylvania, and 481,000 in Wisconsin.

The apparent purpose of the Keystone Newsroom propaganda piece — which does not provide the names of any supposed signatories besides the Democratic lawmakers — and the Harris campaign's use of the headline is to mislead members of this demographic into believing she has the support of their fellow Polish-Americans, despite her apparent contempt for their dominant religion.

The partisans' letter claims that if Ukraine falls, Poland is next and that "Trump bowed to dictators like Putin before and he will do it again if he is reelected."

The letter, which omits any mention of the fact Ukraine was invaded during this and the previous Democratic administrations, but not under Trump, suggests further that "Vice President Harris has a long, strong track record of protecting our democracy here at home and standing up for our brothers, sisters, parents and grandparents in Poland."

While leftists have suggested that Trump might endanger Poland, the Biden-Harris administration is apparently now considering a move that would embroil Poland and all NATO nations in a direct shooting war with Russia: the authorization of Ukraine's use of American and British long-range weapons in Russia.

FACT CHECK: No, Kamala Harris was not Intoxicated During Her Speech

The original footage does not portray Harris with slowed speech, indicating that the video uploaded to TikTok had been altered

Associated Press sets stage for Harris campaign's latest deception — this time targeting JD Vance

The Associated Press has once again furnished the Harris campaign with propaganda to further mislead voters about its political adversaries.

Following a horrific school shooting in Georgia on Wednesday, Sen. JD Vance (R-Ohio) expressed his sympathy for the victims and their families and lamented the fact that such tragedies happen.

The AP mutilated Vance's remarks both in a now-deleted social post and in a since-re-titled article with the ostensible aim of painting him as callous and accepting of the school-shooting status quo.

The Harris campaign did not miss a beat, seizing upon the AP's deceptive framing to engage in some deception of its own — providing a damning characterization of Vance's remarks and recommendations wholly divorced from reality.

'More bulls*** from the Fake News AP.'

Although the Associated Press has walked back its misleading titles, the false narrative it inspired lives on in the propaganda shared by the Harris campaign and its boosters.

Reality

A school shooting took place Wednesday morning at Apalachee High School in Winder, Georgia, claiming the lives of two teachers and two students.

Vance told the crowd at a campaign rally in Phoenix the following day:

First of all, what happened in Georgia is just an awful tragedy. And I know we've got a lot of parents and a lot of grandparents in this room — I mean, I cannot imagine. You know, little kids so excited to go back to school, God love them, and they're at their first week back from the summer, and an absolute barbarian decides to open fire and take their lives and also a couple teachers.

The video the Associated Press shared to YouTube omitted the following from its playback of Vance's speech:

We gotta think about these people. If you're the praying type, and I know I am, we gotta hold them up in prayer. We gotta be hoping for the best for this incredible community because no parent should have to deal with this. No child should have to deal with this. And yes, after holding these folks up in prayer and giving them our sympathies — because that's what people deserve in a time of tragedy — then we have to think about how to make this less common. Now look: the Kamala Harris' answer to this is to take law-abiding American citizens' guns away from them. That is what Kamala Harris wants to do. But we have to ask ourselves, we actually have been able to run an experiment on this because you've got some states with very strict gun laws and you've got some states that don't have strict gun laws at all. And the states with strict gun laws — they have a lot of school shootings, and the states without strict gun laws, some of them have school shootings too, so clearly strict gun laws is not the thing that is going to solve this problem.

The AP resumed sharing footage from Vance's speech at the point where the senator discussed a potential remedy to this problem, stating, "I don't like this. I don't like to admit this. I don't like that this is a fact of life. But if you are a psycho and you want to make headlines, you realize that our schools are soft targets."

Vance added, "We have got to bolster security at our schools so that a person who walks through the front door and kill a bunch of children, they're not able to."

The Ohio senator noted further that this is not the reality he wants, particularly not for his own children, but this is the reality "that we live in."

The Associated Press' framing

The Associated Press covered the speech Thursday. Although the body of the article was relatively accurate in its characterization of Vance's remarks, the corresponding title and social media post, which netted millions of impressions and thousands of retweets prior to its deletion, told a different story.

The original article title — which survives on the pages of various publications that recycle the Associated Press' content and has lookalikes in the pages of the Washington Post and other liberal publications — read, "JD Vance says school shootings are a 'fact of life,' calls for better security."

Noticeably absent from the title was the indication he "lament[ed]" the reality of school shootings; specifically that he said, "I don't like that this is a fact of life."

The post on X, like the original article, said, "JD Vance says school shootings are 'fact of life,' calls for better security."

Critics cognizant of the difference between the Associated Press' framing and the actual content of Vance's remarks lashed out. Soon, a community note was appended to the post, prompting the liberal publication to change the article's title and delete its tweet.

The Trump War Room on X wrote, "More bulls*** from the Fake News AP."

Vance spokesman William Martin told Fox News Digital, "This is yet another case of the fake news media brazenly lying about a Republican politician. Senator Vance said exactly the opposite of what the Associated Press claimed."

"It should come as no surprise that the AP lost any and all credibility it had years ago, because they will lie about literally anything in order prop up the Democrats," continued Martin. "Meanwhile, Kamala Harris has called for all police officers to be removed from schools, putting children all over America at risk. It's yet another example of how Kamala Harris's weak, failed, and dangerously liberal agenda makes her unfit for office."

The new title for the article is "JD Vance says he laments that school shootings are a 'fact of life' and calls for better security."

The new tweet reads, "JD Vance says he laments that school shootings are a 'fact of life' and says the U.S. needs to harden security to prevent more carnage like the shooting this week that left four dead in Georgia."

The AP said in a subsequent message, "This post replaces an earlier post that was deleted to add context to the partial quote from Vance."

Harris propaganda

The Harris campaign ran with the Associated Press' framing, hyperlinking it to an internal communications plan then tweeting, "JD Vance responds to the deadly shooting in Georgia by saying school shootings are just 'a fact of life' and attacking common sense gun safety reform."

'Instead of addressing her own failures, she lies about what I said.'

In an official statement, the Harris campaign wrote, "Yesterday, Vice President Harris said 'it doesn't have to be this way' in response to another senseless school shooting. Donald Trump and JD Vance think school shootings are a 'fact of life' and 'we have to get over it.'"

— (@)

The Trump campaign responded, "Kamala's interns just released a statement pushing FAKE NEWS that the Associated Press just retracted. Watch the full video and you'll clearly see that JD Vance does not say what they claim he said. These morons do nothing but lie every single day."

Harris' campaign was not alone in peddling the falsehood, however; its leader had similarly gone in on the action, tweeting, "School shootings are not just a fact of life. It doesn't have to be this way."

Vance responded directly, writing, "Kamala wants to take security out of our schools instead of protecting our children. Instead of addressing her own failures, she lies about what I said. More desperation from the biggest fraud in American politics."

Late last month, the Associated Press supported another false Democratic narrative.

Blaze News previously reported that the liberal publication parroted the false Democratic claim that Project 2025 is the "Republican blueprint for a second Trump term in the White House."

Project 2025 responded on X, "Is this the AP or the DNC account? Project 2025 does not represent any candidate or campaign."

Only after the damage was done did the AP correct its error and delete its post, noting it had "misidentified the blueprint as Republican."
